Something to Giggle about

I found a way to eat oatmeal. A way other than in a bowl. Homemade granola..

I melt all-natural peanut butter in the microwave, 2 TBS of peanut butter for 35 seconds, stir 2 spoons pure maple syrup in it, mix it with 1/2 cup of oats and Ready, Set Go! I put in on aluminum foil and BROIL it in my toaster oven. Homemade Granola...

For my evening meal, I make a mango, peanut butter powder, rice protein powder, 2 drop of coconut oil and a cup of Vanilla Soy Milk. It is the consistency of soft ice cream, and I top it with homemade granola.

Searching the blog with the word OATMEAL found Something to Giggle about and Giggle I did!

I FOUND TEN POSTS ON OATMEAL AND THE LAST ONE WAS ONLY 3 MONTHS AGO, MARCH 28TH

ALSO NOTE: the photo at the top, is Not Granola, but the cookies I talked about on a past post.

OH, MY WORD!!! the label Oatmeal . gives all 10 posts, and several pictures of granola if you don't know what granola looks like.

YOUR MISSION, should you choose to accept it, is Browse YOUR blog and see how many times you have repeated yourself on the same subject, create a post, and let us read all about it. .
Try it Act Crazy follow the MAD Snapper down the crazy blog trail
You wanna know how crazy I am?
PS, it was worse than this. This is the Edited Version~~~~ ok, I should have deleted it.

THIS POST HAS BEEN IN MY DRAFTS SINCE JULY 1ST, 2025

Welcome to the club! I always want to post about something and cannot find the photos. That is because I had already posted about it and deleted them!!

We should write about anything we want to. If we keep coming back to some subjects it just means they are ones that are important to us. I thought this was an interesting post. :)

Oh you know my blog is set up around themes, so every week you get the same but different! That's what journalling is about - the small things in life that are important to us, even if not to anyone else... but who knows, we might spark an interest they never knew they had! YAM xx

If you cannot express yourself in your blog, where can you? Blogging is for pleasure and maybe (!!) a little self-indulgence.

It is your blog, your personal space. It is up to you to craft it any way you see fit. If you return to the same subject often, it’s a validation of your creative ability in being able to do so.

Hello,
I enjoy your blog and your creative images, blogs can be about anything you enjoy. The homemade granola sounds delicious.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead..

I kept thinking that the first picture looked like the no bake cookies I used to make. It wasn't surprising when you said it wasn't granola...lol I've put granola in my yogurt sometimes but not often.
I repeat subjects a lot on my blog. Some are a yearly thing.

When bake muffins (cupcakes), and certain cakes, I nowadays replace half of the wheat flour with oatmeal (and 1/2 - 3/4 of the sugar with stevia sweetener).

Hey, I post the same themes week after week! You go ahead and post about oatmeal all you want. I like it and this granola sounds very good!

When you have been posting as long as we have, you can't help but repeat a subject. I know I have many times.

Homemade granola sounds yummy!

Ya know, I wouldn't have known the difference. The only Granola I remember eating usually came in the form of a stale bar ... only b/c I was starving. Ohhh, you should see my "experiments" ... wait, you've just given me an idea.
Taking up the challenge!

I often wonder how many times I have done this...Blogging for 15 years, I'm guessing I have several post with the same Heading.. Granola sounds so good.

I'm glad to hear you found a way to eat oatmeal.

Sandra, we all blog differently and most times our posts are all about what we've been doing (or not). I know that some of my posts (Ok more than just a few) have dealt with subjects not the least bit of interest to others. It's variety that makes the blog community an interesting place to return to. I am a juge fan of oatmeal but have never made my own granola...food for thought!

So the photo is not granola. So is what you made in the microwave and put in toaster oven what you ate? Your evening meal sounds good too. I'm glad these work for you. It's okay that you have posted on oatmeal before. They always seem new to me.

I am so often "on repeat" now that we don't travel very much and not doing things at church like we used to.
Actually part of my latest blog post is a "do again" from 5 years ago. One does what one can ...
Ok now I am going out to the backyard to whip the weeds into submission..fodder for another repeat blog post..HaHa...

I don't even know how you find how many times you repeated a word to be honest. I just put what is in my heart for the week.
I LOVE OATMEAL.

I'm afraid to check how many times I've repeated myself! Probably often.
I can't eat such like that anymore but the oatmeal sounds good. Well done!
Love ❤️

I enjoyed your post and your sense of humor. That's a good sign. Your "granola" sounds good! I have blogged about many things over and over...recipes, certain flowers, bugs, butterflies, you name it, I've probably shared something about something many times over. But I look at it this way...how many of you remember all those times? Some of you are newer to my blog and didn't know about those things before. I like seeing when I wrote about some things before. Remember, it's your blog and you can write whatever you want. We enjoy it no matter what! So there!

I may just try that! Perhaps Fruitcake Cookies or September Morn??

All my posts seem to be the same thing, and it's okay. I'll have to try your granola recipe.

I've got like a thousand drafts. That looks good!

lexitheschnauzer said...

Mom's only draft was an obit for Riley months before he died. He was supposed to go to the vet one last time, then he rallied. Yay. At the end, there was no rallying. 😞 Chia
It doesn't matter if this was from July or the 100th blog about oatmeal. I still enjoyed Mom reading it to me! XOX Lucy
