It was so amazing, but I could not get a photo of what I was seeing. The moon was a huge, tilted sliver, three stars appeared in a perfect flow below the tip of the tilted moon, as though it spilled them out into the sky. I thought, no problem, I will draw it in procreate 
Wrong again! I could not draw a moon; I tried and tried. The middle is what I drew snuggled between two houses that were below the tilted moon.
I asked Gemmi AI to show me what I saw, and it did.
And Sandra said let there be light and there was, and she loves them very much... my new nightlight

I see the real stars! It is so amazing that you were actually able to snap the stars, they are so tiny and far away! This is the brightest night light I have seen, and you need it! Our street is ink black in the dark...there are no street lights!

I can see why you go out early with the trash. I like that time of day because it is usually very quiet - maybe a night bird or two, or a fox trotting silently by. Did you see any shooting stars - we've had some spectacular ones recently.

You do find creative ways to occupy the little free time you have, Sandra! Gazing at the moon and stars is always wonderful and you have the ability to use the inspiration to draw what you see. My son-in-law is an astronomer and I am always amazed by the things he points out to me. The distances are simply unfathomable. As for the moon, I am saddened that we plan to land on it again. We have already trashed the Earth and we will do the same thing to the moon. Let’s just spend the vast sums of money that will be necessary to go there trying to clean up what we have ruined here, and leave other places to carry on without the destructive actions of Homo sapiens. It seems impossible for us to leave well enough alone.

I tried to take a picture the other night of the moon and sky but what I saw and what the camera captured were so far off it lost it's beauty.
I could see the stars in our photos when enlarging them. AI did well in the reconstruction, too, though!

I see the stars - so beautiful! Last night we saw the blood moon and it was gorgeous, but when I tried to get a picture it was just grainy. So you did good!

I love that nightlight! Normally I (try to) make the girls wait until 6a to step outside ... on account I'm a big chicken. Tomorrow morning, however, we need to hit the road at like 3:30 to be in Alex City for Tom's procedure. Suffering from night blindness, I'm more than a little nervous. Turn up that moonlight!
Wow what beautiful pictures. I can never get night photos. Need a better camera. The stars are so pretty and bright against the backdrop of darkness. It really speaks, without words about the true sustaining Light, doesn’t it?!

How wonderful that you saw stars. I don't see any very often. Too many city lights. We do see them in Montana. I did see a beautiful moon the other night driving home from Adam's house.
How neat.... We live in town and it is very difficult to see the stars shining at night from all the street lights. Our daughter lives only a mile out in the country from us and at her place, you can see the beautiful sky....
