Bob's rash appeared on the evening of the 24th, the day after infusion.I called the RX nurse line and also the RN that did the infusion, and the Director of nursing, RN boss. Was told to give Benadryl and tylenol. Also told they would report it to the Neuro Doc. THEY DID NOT. of course it was the weekend.
Mon 10/27 I made appt. for 10/28 with Primary. notified Transport to get us there.
I then called to report to neurology about the rash, was told to cancel primary, come see PA 10/28 at 4 pm same day.Canceled Primary, notified transport
At 2 pm Neuro desk calls said that was a mistake, can't see him until FRIDAY the 31st I notified Transport.
Call and can't reach primary. called all day, left messages, called 10/29 could not get through.
Took photos of rash prepared to go out and stand in the office until someone looked at them and made an appt. I decide to look online at primary, see he has 3, 4 and 4:45 open today 7/28 call transport, he picks the time he can come and i make it for 3. transport notified
10 minutes later the phone rings. Primary calling😱. Sorry we don't have an appt for today, the first one is tomorrow at 10:45, she holds while I NOTIFY TRANSPORT.
OH MY WORD!
It is now 10:22 on 10/28/2025, the rash is raging, controlled by spray Benadryl and we wait. (forgot to say Bob had a reaction to Benadryl) so dopy he could not stand to transfer into a chair or potty without aid.
PS the bedsore is starting to act up, it was healed, now the RN must come and check. If this bloviating doesn't scare you, look at the October Calendar.
I will not be blogging, this is just my scream for your continued prayers.
Good news is.... I got 9 hours of sleep last night, with one 5 minute up for potty time. I simply asked Bob sweetly if he would sleep in the living room and let me get caught up on sleep and he Did and he slept all night too, one time up at 2 and right back to sleep. YAY

Sandra I am screaming with you how scary is it for medical professionals to be so inEFFICIENT, careless and without any compasion.
hugs cecilia
I agree with the above about the medical personnel, they really seem to have lost their empathy for ill people in that office and here too, as it recently happened to me. I'm glad you got the nine hours sleep though, something you so badly needed.
What is going on? My husband is getting the runaround with trying to get his tooth fixed. He’s off the antibiotics and no doubt the pain will return. It’s maddening but not as crazy as what you’re experiencing. You really need some help. So glad you and Bob both had some good sleep. That will help.
You know I’m realizing it’s not a good time to be a senior when it comes to medical.
WOW, that is first class inefficiency on all levels. It's a darn poor time for our health care system to load up with such uncaring people. I'm screaming right along with you. Big hugs from all of us!
Your calendar is a n nightmare. Please let me know how the doctor appointment went. Always praying!! Hurrah for the sleep!!!
Good for you for asking Bob to sleep in the living room. Sleep is so important for both of you, especially during this nightmare. Continuing to send love and prayers. ❤️
Poor Bob and you, Sandra. This sounds like a big mess, but I hope you can get Bob some relief soon.
I don't understand when health care folks make things so difficult. Shame on them. Prayers for you and Bob. I'm glad you got a great nights sleep though.
Have a calm and successful day and week. More prayers for the both of you. Scritches to Beau. ♥
