Paws Together for Beau AGAIN

Once again my sweet Boy Beau is sick, with the same thing he has had since Dec 30, 2024, this is the 3rd ER visit, with vomiting and bloody diarrhea.
This time was not a holiday or a weekend, but Monday evening and his vet does surgeries on Tuesday and no patient visits.
He was sick from 3:30 Monday until I took him to ER at 6:30 AM.
I woke up both nights with side effects of tinnitus in my ears that sounded like screaming hearing aids, in fact I got up to see if it was Bob's new aids.
Back to my doctor, the pills did seem to calm me, but with two side effects, might not be able to take them.
We are all ok, Beau is conked out all morning from two injections, one for nausea and one for diarhea that last 24 hours.
He is good now... Hope to be back soon.
While Beau was getting IV's for dehydration and shots and exam, I documented
the fact that since we were there in 2024, we are proud to say we did a sizeable portion of their remodel. It Looks Beautiful.
The coffee bar is for you Ginny.. and I wanted a cup but due to Side Effects on IBS could not have one. You might think I was the only one there,
Why yes, I was, the place was empty, they close at 8 am, two employees and Me and Beau and I realized after I got home, I was in a glass building taking photos when anyone could have walked in off the street and shot, stabbed, kidnapped me with no problem........😁😁😁 the place is all glass windows and large doors that open when you walk up

Yes, it's a beautiful facility but I'm hating the reason you had to be there. That's strange about them closing at 8; I guess on account that's his surgical date? At least the sun appears to be shining. I hate being exposed to gosh-knows what when it's dark outside.
Bold prayers for sweet Beau and his momma!

My paws are crossed that Beau feels better soon. It's too bad they can't figure out why this is happening so you might be able to prevent it.

This place is awesome! I have never seen a vet's office like it, it looks like a fancy upscale human clinic. And I adore the coffee corner of course. LOVE the aqua color and I know you do too. Now to find out what YOUR doctor said.

Oh my friend, I am so sorry you are going through the Beau sickness again. I hope they can finally figure out what's wrong and get it cleared up.
The same with you and the new meds. Praying that the side effects will subside and you can heal.
(((hugs)))

Oh poor sweet Beau. I am so sorry he was feeling so poorly, but glad you were able to get him to the Vet and get some help for him. Praying he feels better really soon and doesn't keep getting this. Praying for YOU too. Side effects to meds are no fun. I hope they go away so you can feel better. Praying for both of you. I know what you mean about feeling like you paid for the clinic's nice remodel. I just had a root canal and new crown + deep cleaning, and I feel like I paid for a nice section of their new building...or the Dentist's new car... whatever...when we wish we could take a vacation this year I will tell my hubby to enjoy looking at my teeth. LOL.

I am so sorry to read all that's going on again. That is a beautiful building. It must get very busy at times. I'm glad you were there at the quiet time so that you could be seen right away. Prayers being sent with lots of hugs.

Sandra I am so so so so so sorry that you are going through this again with Beau. I wish that pup a speedy recovery. I'm very glad to read that they were able to take you and see you guys. So sorry about the ringing. Is that something that goes away or just lasts? Very, very sorry. Sending love and huggs.

Gosh I really hate this for both of you. Do they have any idea why this happens or what is wrong? The office is gorgeous! So, what two side affects and can you see if they go away?

Oh, Dear, not again. Hope those meds help you to feel a lot better, Beau!
And I pray that you, Sandra, will be able to either stop the medicine that's giving you all those nasty side effects or find something that doesn't do that.

I guess we can confidently conclude that vets do well! But I think we knew that. You have seen more than your share of the inside of clinics in the past while, both canine and human. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Beau.

Prayers for you Bob and little sweet Beau. At the first sign of loose stool for out pups, I immediately give them Kaopectate Vanilla flavored. (Yes, the human one) I have small dogs so I usually give 1/4 cc from a syringe. If you've never done this...test with only a quarter cc.
Works and helps with the pain. Then only feed rice and hamburger meat mixed with a little chicken broth and a tablespoon of canned pumpkin. works most every time.

What a nice waiting room. I'm so sorry you have to be there, though. Prayers for Beau to get better.
One of our doggie's has been going downhill: Jack. He's the brother of Sam. Jack has always been unhealthy but now he's really going downhill. It's some kind of intestinal thing the Vet can not pin point. For now cooked rice with chicken broth is settling his tummy and keeping him from puking. He loves it, bless his heart.
Coffee gives you IBS? Dang. Shot me now. 🤣 JK That's awful. It's veg's for me. When I gave them up the symptoms stopped. I also found out this way that squashes and tomatoes are not veg's because I don't have an adverse effect to them. I never knew they were fruit. 😁Oh, and potatoes don't hurt me. That's good. Big fan of those.
Love ya kuz'n. Sending prayers for everyone to be healthy and safe. 💓💓

Answering you back from my blog:

Have you tried any foods like whatever is in the fridge? Today I'm going to shoot spinach. Nothing fancy just for practice with light and shadow. Anything small like that or even an unused toothbrush. Wires, anything like that. Or a super macro of some of your neat glass.

Wow, 24 hours of rest I'm glad the pup (Beau), got that. I can understand about the possible side effects vs the stress. Stress can do so many things to us. So I get that for sure.

Not being mad and crying ... though I gotta say, a good cry (for me, I can only speak for me), does wonders. But I get that right now, you don't want that and just wanna not be mad. I get that too. Makes sense.

Sending love and huggs your way ❤️ And you know, all of us that read your blog on the daily are here when you want to vent, too!

So sorry to hear about Beau.....will continue to pray for the three of y'all. Kind of spooky with all that glass. I'm not big for wide open places. I tend to look for a cozy corner somewhere. None to be seen at that place.

Beau has certainly had a rough time just like Bob and yourself. Hope all of you will be doing better in the days and weeks to come, Sandra.
