Last week I took 2 Tylenol at bedtime, because I had hacked down these vines, to get to Beaus poop. I have no idea how he got back there, but I saw him come out and KNEW he went because I could smell it.
I finished with the loppers and clippers and could reach behind the fern to lift out the poop. See red dot.
Same Night I gave Bob his nightly 2 Tylenol at bedtime
we both had strange dreams
My Dream is first
My dream this past week.
I am kneeling in beach sand, there is a football player laying in the sand, I put my finger down in the sand and draw a slash from top to bottom. I write the words, Victory Forever in a slanted slash across the other slash making it look like a tilted cross. I am humming a song, I don't know what it is. I realize that behind me are rows and rows of old 1950's style theater seats, maybe a thousand of the rows and every seat has a black silhouette of a person, male and female sitting there. I am running down every aisle, searching for the profile, I have to find Johanna
profile, I know her well enough to find her that way. I am panicked, humming and searching and I wake up.
I am really humming a song, I get out of bed and still humming finally recognize its the old hymn that I have not heard in 50 years or more, Victory In Jesus.
I have not seen Johanna, my friend for 13 years at my office, since I retired in 2006.
She is fine, I looked on FB to see if she is.
Sand? Football Player? Drawing in sand? No clue
I have absolutely no clue where any of this came from, but I did find the song and Carrie Underwood is belting it out on my computer and I am singing along with it.
Bobs Dream
Bob wakes me up at 2:20 am, he is whispering over and over,
Oh My God Oh my God, Oh my God and I get up to see what is wrong thinking call 911. He can't hear me because his aids are in their box.
I run get the hearing aid and say what's wrong.
He said I had a dream, I was brushing my teeth, really hard and long and fast and I choked and swallowed the tooth brush, it went all the way down my throat and I was saying Oh My God, Oh My God, how can I get it out.
WE HAVE No Clue....
We both try to never take a pain pill of any kind but sometimes ancient bones need help to sleep.
Why was he whispering? Why can I hear him whisper in a sound sleep. What if we both have a dream at the same time?
do we need a dream specialist?
No I did not ask AI to make a picture of bob's dream.
Just using my own imagination scares me silly.
Note: I have a LABEL named Nsaid Dreams there are 4 more of these, and if by chance you go there, this one comes up first, but the rest are there.

Both dreams are frightening. The shadows of so many people who you cannot see. I am wondering if the football player may be Bob.
Dreams can be very strange. I rarely remember a dream but the ones I do are very uncomfortable.
I hate scary dreams!
Whoa! I sometimes have very strange dreams, too, and not a few nightmares. In that regard I take after my mother,
I should keep. a journal by my bed, so that I can write them down, so often in the morning I can't remember them. And for the most part they are all so bizzare. When I was on chemo and all the drugs for that, I had some totally weird ones...

Yikes. The sands of time? Seriously though, I might pay more attention if you had those dreams without the introduction of drugs - write it down to tripping in your sleep! YAM xx
Enjoy it like some crazy film - be the onlooker. I love crazy dreams. The crazier the better, but then I never jave bad, scary or dark dreams - never nightmares - so I can treat dreams as whacky bits of entertainment. Swallowing a toothbrush is right out there though - pretty wild stuff.
omg ... your bobs dream is very scary... for me the nightmares after painmeds are vivid and I can remember every detail... and that are always the dreams what give me the shivers... hugs to you both....
Those are some crazy dreams. Bob would be especially scary with the choking. I rarely remember my dreams but when I do, I'm almost always at work
I never heard of Tylenol but I've been using ibuprofen for various pain problems throughout my adult life. I'm careful not to overdose for other reasons but I never associated NSAID with affecting my dreams - nor to have any other side-effects that I've noted, for that matter. I have had periods of intense dreaming in the past though (when "lots on my mind") so I know how puzzling that can be to try and make sense of. You have certainly had "lots on your mind" lately, so I guess not much extra needed to stir up strange dreams. The victory message looks/sounds positive though - you have certainly fought hard and also managed to overcome a lot problems! 💕
Who can account for strange dreams? Do they have meaning? I had no idea that Tylenol could induce them. It will be really strange if you and Bob ever have the same odd dream!
I have been having some very vivid dreams since I went on a new med. The med works for me and it is the only one that has helped. The dreams are not scary-just intense and 'real' feeling. Your dreams (both) are very interesting...and it makes you wonder---WHY THAT?! xo Diana
Beautiful blog
Please read my post
Wow! What vivid dreams. The dreams that seem real are the scariest!
Dreams seem frighteningly real and often difficult to recover from.
Both dreams are strange. I rarely dream, I must not be sleeping deeply. If I do I do not always remember the dream. Medicines can have weird side effects. Have a great day and happy weekend.
I'm so impressed at your ability to remember these details! Even w/o Tylenol or Aleve, I've been enjoying some pleasant dreams; reluctant to wake up. I'm not familiar with that hymn but I'm going to Google it now.
OMG on the poop. I cannot even understand how he got back there.
Dreams never stay with me long. Well, some do but most vanish off before I've even gotten out of bed.
Crazy dreams! I have them too. Sometimes I have dreams where Bob is doing something crazy and I wake up mad at him - poor guy!
Those are both scary dreams for sure.
I agree, those are some really scary dreams. Big hugs from all of us!
When I dream of someone I've lost contact with, I see it as a sign to pry for them. Those are definitely interesting dreams - more like nightmares. Tylenol is the only pain reliever I can take. I'm allergic to the others. I don't get dreams from Tylenol but I do have weird dreams when I was taking a narcartic pain killer after my knee replacement and rotator cuff surgeries that gave me daytime hallucinations, such as a fox walking around my house. Trippy!
Lol not pry but PRAY
These meds do the same thing to me. I dream the craziest scary dreams. I know you both were so happy when you woke up to realize that these were not real happenings. In my dreams...water is always involved...
YIKES thanks for the heads up. I have never taken two Nsaids at one time...
Hugs Cecilia
I don't dream very often and rarely can remember them when I wake up. Sometimes they are good ones and I don't want to wake up.
The song Victory in Jesus was Dave's brothers' favorite song and he would belt it out all the time.
We sang it at his funeral. Being on his way to heaven was his real Victory. Some times those old hymns are the best.

Perhaps two tylenol at the same time is too much. Were they extra strength? I can only take one of those at a time, but I can take two ibuprofen (regular strength). However, yes, I have had some strange dreams and more often when I take the tylenol. Victory in Jesus is one of my favorite hymns, and it's great that at least if you had a strange dream, you ended up singing a wonderful, victorious song!! As far as Bob's dream...does he have sleep apnea? Perhaps he was having trouble breathing. I tend to have that, and it causes some very crazy dreams because I am literally choking. Thankfully I always wake up in time to breathe. Can't use a Cpap machine, however. I tried, but that was a bigger nightmare for me! Anyway, I pray that you both will have a good night's sleep tonight, and I hope Beau will do his business in plain sight from now on! LOL.
Wow, those were strange dreams. I dream a little bit but never remember them. Mark has a lot of dreams and remembers every single thing. Sorry you had to work so hard getting Beau's poop.
Hope you have a nice weekend.
Sorry about the aching and having to take a pain pill. I don't like those things either. They can be very hard on our organs, or so I hear.
Your dream seems very innocuous just odd. I read where such dreams are nonsense things or bits of memories that our minds remember and try to make sense of. I am wondering if Bob was actually choking or having a mild sleep apnea of some kind. 🪥 Hopefully it will not happen again.
I had a vivid dream after 2 AM. I dreamed about a couple that are friends with us. Nothing spectacular happened. When I do dream about folks I know I pray for them when I wake up. Something may be amiss. 🙏🏻
Love 💞
This is why I pray against having dreams, or at least against remembering them.
Those were some crazy dreams from both of you. I wonder why you dream when you take those pills?
I almost always have scary dreams that wake me up at night, or early in the morning. sometimes they are good though. didn’t know that Tylenol can cause vivid dreams and nightmares.
