Thankful Things

I washed my 2007 Kia Sorrento

Ten Things I am Thankful for that happened  Friday 4/10/2026

Ruby and I Walked Beau together

!
1. Ruby and I carried a giant fan, 5 ft tall garage fan to the curb, and now someone else owns it. Anything left at the curb, people stop and get it.

2. I am thankful for my primary Doctor and my 6 months check up with her I  got A+ results

3. Picked up RX for Beau, Beau is on 4 RX 3 supplements,  I am thankful he is doing well and I can afford 7 meds to keep him healthy.

4. I came Home after an hour and 15 minutes and checked on my two Boys, and there were no issues while I was away

5. Thankful for Yellow Thing leaf blower that I used to clean garage while car was  out side
6. Thankful I was able to wash the car and even clean the wheels.
The poor thing has not had a bath in 2 years.

7. I am thankful I was able to mow the grass, mulch the leaves, get leaves out of pool every day of the week, we had a week of 15 to 30 mph winds. Lots of leaves. All mulched.
8. Thankful for Yam, who told me about this silicone key board cover. I wear the letters off in just a few months. This is perfect and only 5 dollars, Amazon.

9. I am thankful for 10 hours of sleep on March 18, 2025, 2 naps and a full night. woo hoo

#10 thankful is this tiny yellow flower that would have become an avocado if the winds had not blown it down for me to find and show to you, also thankful you will all oooh and ahhh about the flower. It could sit on a pencil eraser

Hope to be able to read your posts soon, sorry I can't now

Don't worry at all, Sandra. You have many thankfuls, and you are doing well. That's what counts! I like your keyboard, it looks like it lights up, too.

I am happy that you are happy, Sandra. I have never worn the letters off a key board. Is this because I have a delicate, sensitive touch? That’s what I’m going with anyway! Have a great day and may the happiness continue. P.S. if you want to keep those car washing skills going I have a 2019 Volkswagen sitting in the driveway for you. 😏

Wow! You must've had a big spurt of energy! Amazing the things you have been accomplishing lately! God is good! I know we all have those high energy days once in a while, and then I suffer afterwards for several days, but it feels good to get things accomplished. I am thankful for you to be able to do these things, and also for your friend Ruby, who has become a helper and inspiration to you. Thank you for keeping us updated even if you can't visit around. We understand that!! It's just so good to see what you are doing and that you are OK!! Praise God!

A wonderful list of thankfulness. You have been very productive in getting things done.. I have had several days lately when I barely get my blog written for the day and no time for reading and commenting. It is very difficult some days to balance my love for blogging and being a care taker... Some days we have to doctor's appointments which takes up the entire day. I totally understand...

I wondered about you so came here to check...so glad Beau is doing good...hope it continues. I do wear letters off sometimes, but I have keys that completely stop working. I got a separate keyboard for the old computer I keep on the table. It had three letters that had completely stopped working and two more that that were getting till I had to hit them several times to get them to work.

I'm glad to hear you have lots to be thankful for, but especially thankful that you got an A+ from your doctor.

Not having the energy to read and comment on blogs (due to my age, will be 86 in June) is what has kept me from blogging. Now you made me think that maybe I should just post again. It will, if nothing else, be a record for me of what I've been up to. The other day, I had all the horses, about five, a big donkey and a small one, and a pony galloping around my yard. They were so happy to have been let out of their enclosures and were enjoying the lovely spring day. And I was in horse heaven.

What a buggy-full of Good News! I'm more than a little envious of your 10-hour sleep. Embarrassed, too, at the state of my pollen-covered, once-black car,
Thank you for this update! xo

I'm thrilled about your trip to the doctor! Great news. You've been a yard and pool cleaning maniac, LOL! I worked outside a lot, too over the weekend, doing handyperson stuff and some yard stuff. Need to wash my car with bird poop on the outside mirror! I think you earned that good sleep and a day of rest. Love to you and Bob and Beau. Amy

That was one awesome list of things to be grateful for. You are really getting to be strong and do things you didn't think you could do.

Way to go! You accomplished so many things. I haven't been able to do much around the house and I'm so frustrated. Relax and enjoy your weekend.
