I think you might be saying... rain, rain go away... don't come back for many days. Wow!
Wow, I had no idea it was so bad. I guess the ground cannot absorb so much rain. I agree with Snapper II, better get a boat just to be safe.

Is the pool running over? I would think so. Is there any danger of it getting in the house? Hope it slows up soon. Tom and Joey's house flooded twice when they were living in Magnolia Park. They had just recently purchased the house. The first time they had it up to the window sills. (36 inches) It happened at night and came so fast they were not able to save much. They had to gut the house and completely re-do it. About 18 months later, just after the house was completed, they got 18 inches again. It was awful. It had never happened before in that neighborhood. T & J had flood ins. because it was required when they bought the house. Many couples our age had no ins. They had been there for 25-30 years and they lost everything. It was sad. They were building the Casey Canal Parkway at that time and it was believed that is what caused the flooding. Mountains of dirt all around, kept the water from flowing into the canal. We had never seen anything like it!
I'd ask to have some of that rain sent over here to Arizona but I'll wait to get my roof fixed so then I can see where the next leak is coming from. I do love the rain, though. But not inside my house.

I have been wanting to move some plants around, but it's been too hot and dry. I now run out between showers and move them and don't have to water them!
Oh Sandra, I had no idea you were having THAT much rain down there... I hate to say this but we are having near perfect weather this week.. (didn't mean to rub it in... SORRY!!)
Glad your plants and flowers and trees are enjoying the rain... Tell Noah that you've had enough now... The BOAT is FULL. ha

I hope you really won't need Noah. If you can figure out how to do it, send some of that rain up here -- we could use it.
Wow! You can't see any grass! You now live in a tropical rain forest!! What will you do about the pool? How will you get the water out of the garage?
Gosh..that hasn't happened here in quite awhile! Boy, I remember days like that though! When we had ducks and geese- they luv luv luved it- and of course the trees and that. I kind of like it but it can become overwhelming:)
Are you in Florida? My sister lives in Leesburg, near Orlando, and she has been seeking advice from Noah as well. Here, we are doing a raindance! We need some moisture.
Thanks for the information on the blog. For some reason, my tart posted but it kept showing the Lily post from two days ago in the feed. I kept trying and something worked but I'm going to follow your advice and check it out. First time it has happened and shows me how little I know about blogging.

My goodness, that's a lot of rain. It's been two months since we have had a decent rain. Your trees and flowers will really take off after this.
