See the tomato flower in the header, I came home from a trip to the cemetery but that is another story. and bob said come out here, quick...... so i did and here you are. breaking news

IT IS OFFICIALLY A TOMATO!!!!!!
It is the size of a child's marble. there are 6 of them, and about 25 more blooms on the 7 plants
I tried and I tried to get a better photo, it can't happen shooting blind
 I tried and
I tried again, enlarge the photos and you can see some of them
 One more try
Surprised ME and I am sure it surprised YOU..... I was holding the camera upside down, under the plant, bent down from my waist, shooting BLIND.... stop laughing NOW...
PS I did not want to wait until tomorrow...

I can see them!!! You need a camera with a tiltable screen!! Your poor back! The things we do for blogging! So did that tomato come from the center of the yellow flower? The crocus came up next door, but we may get snow in a few days. Hey, I see another post below, it looks frightening!!! I'll pop down.

Woo hoo! I'm really jealous now that you've got real tomatoes showing up! Just think how good they're going to taste one day soon.

Looking good.I agree with ginny,a tilt view finder would be perfect.I had a camera with that feature and really liked it.

The best one is with your face in it!! Oh, to find a mere tomato could bring this much delight! I hope you have a wonderful salsa planned for them~

Love these. The actually look like the photos I tried to take of my almond blossoms. For one good one I had 6 out of focus ones. The camera kept focusing on the background or I shot the sky or my feet. Happy tomatos anyway. Wish we had some.
The bread I used in my McMuffin post is called thins. I turned them inside out, buttered them and grilled them. I guess they really do look like pancakes...pretty tasty anyway.

Only a true gardener can get excited about those first little fruits...enjoy. You probably would like a swivel window camera...
By the way, I like the quote on your header...I looked it up and it is a phrase from author Frank Deford who is 72 years old...I guess it is tricky to give a quote attribute in a header, but you might find some way to do it.
best wishes!

Already tasting those tomatoes! Got a kick out of that surprise "tomato" in the last photo!

I know the excitement... since I've grown tomatoes myself on the balcony... :) Oh it seems so far away still. No room to grow them from seeds inside and can't buy plant until mid May at least!

Oh lucky you. You have tomatoes. I wouldn't dream of laughing at you because you can bet your bottom dollar that if I had tomatoes I would be doing the same thing :)

I see them, you have baby tomatoes! I'm not laughing about the shooting blind, I've done that too. Something I did this past summer, I really should post those photos, is a mirror image. Just grab a small mirror and let your imagination guide you.

I like the last photo best of all. Seriously, congratulations on your tomatoes. Nothing tastes better than a fresh tomato from the garden.

OK, what planting zone do you live in? Obviously either 10 or 11 for sure. The thought of tomato plants is all that is going on here. I haven't even seen any in the garden stores. It is February, the last time I checked... although if I remember.. February is the strawberry season in Florida... around Plant City.
