Down By the River - again

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
John Muir
I decided to add a little advice with the photos.. Surprised Aren't you?

Gorgeous, intelligent, kind, sweet, charming, witty, hilarious, friendly...well enough about ME!

How are you?

HELP: Cops are after a suspect who smart, witty, sweet and beautiful...so where you gonna hide ME?

3 kinds of people: those who can count and those who can’t.
I don’t approve of political jokes…I’ve seen too many of them get elected.

I'm with Muir. I need nature to make me feel good. Just like your photos do.

Nice macros of the lichens, those would be good in a salad. What is that in your third photo down, a berry? I love the John Muir quote.

Being in nature is healing to body and soul. The first two images look almost like lichen on the branches,or is that leaves.Very interesting.

great details in some of these pictures, but they are all lovely.
i also noticed the beautiful blurry background that gives to the photos a great effect!

Sandra I always wondered how to explain to blog friends who have photographs on their blog - why I join them or why I like them so much. And I get writing the words awesome and beautiful - although they are.

Here is my reason:
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
John Muir

Exactly my reason.

Love,
sandie

I love the Muir quote. I can spend quite a bit of time just standing and gazing out my window at nature. It's just soothing to the soul.

Love the new header photo! AND your lichen, great work gal! Looks like you need to get to the river more often. What is that berry like plant? Looks like raspberry?
