Arcade Visit

The Day after Christmas, in addition to Theresa's for breakfast, and Rusty Cricket Gift shop, we strolled in the doors of The Arcade on Main Street. Above and below is the view when we stepped inside.

Alas! all the beautiful shops upstairs and down were Closed for the Monday After Christmas Holiday.
And double Alas! so were the Rest Rooms....

The Oil painting in the little Cafe was for sale, along with many others, and the Cafe was open, but we had just finished breakfast. To bad, the sidewalk cafe would have been a fun place to eat.
The view as we left the arcade.  All dressed up for Christmas (the arcade not us)and All Closed up for the Holiday

The shops all look interesing, too bad you got there the day after Christmas when everything was closed. Most of the stores in our town were closed that day too. Hubby had the day off.

That would be a great place to eat. And watch shoppers.

You have some interesting places to visit. I do like that railing.

Hope your day is good!

kind of nice to see the small shops not staying open the day after Christmas (unlike the retail giants who create mayhem).

Closed but so pretty....

I can not use Google Reader at all, anymore, to see new posts. Have had to do it differently. Making a "My Little Posse" blog, private, but showing me, when new posts are made.

Good luck!

It looks very closed! But at least you got some good window-shopping out of it!

Wonderful quaint look to this little arcade.

Closed the day after Christmas? That's like the biggest day to be out there returning all the unwanted gifts and spending all the cash you got.

Looks like a delightful assortment of shops. The decorations were very pretty.

Your's must have been one of the few places that was closed the day after Christmas. Everywhere around here was a zoo. Sales galore...I stayed far away!
Sandra, I don't know how you do it. You have a post everyday.
Its all I can do to post about twice a week.
Kuddos to you and your stick to it-ness.

Looks like a lot of nice lttle shops. I really like that ladies red suit...pretty. Kind of suprising that they're all closed, but also kind of nice. You should go back and eat at that cafe, looks fun. :)
Have a great weekend Sandra!

I haven't seen an old-fashioned arcade like this in ages. It's really quite elegant. It's too bad all the shops were closed, but think of all the money you saved.

I don't know how the little arcade shops were, but the big stores were crazy busy the day after Christmas here.

Hi Sandra, looks like you and your friend had a fun day out. Thanks for letting me know that you are close to Bradentown. So if we ever take a road trip south to visit friends there, we may met!

I love that Christmas wreath...the one in the second shot! Just think it will be another 10 months before we start seeing signs of Christmas!
