Pod's of Palmetto

 Saw Palmetto back yard..
Spring time brings on the seed pods

Seed pods from the past. I pick them and bring the small ones inside and stick in my green bottles
then MadSnapper takes the bottle outside and sits it on the grill and Snap! Snap! Snap
this last photo enlarged will show you on the right side the chain link fence behind it makes the texture.
The big seed pods are from the Dwarf Poinciana tree. The small are from 2 different Palmetto trees

Your header photo is gorgeous, nice to see how you did it. Those seed pods are really pretty even when they are dried.

That chain link fence does add some great texture.

As an avid scrapper, I can honestly say that I would never, ever, ever have come up with using a chain link fence for texture. :) Amazing work Sandra. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty header! I really like the green bottle. I would have never guessed that was a chain-linked fence giving you that cool background.

I like your seed pods in a bottle, but the photos from your yard are wonderful as well.

I like putting those in the wine bottle - you could put some lights in the bottle - would be pretty.

Pretty cool dried arrangement there. I never would have guessed that was sitting on a grill. Love all the shots
