Saw Palmetto back yard..
Spring time brings on the seed pods
Seed pods from the past. I pick them and bring the small ones inside and stick in my green bottles
then MadSnapper takes the bottle outside and sits it on the grill and Snap! Snap! Snap
this last photo enlarged will show you on the right side the chain link fence behind it makes the texture.
The big seed pods are from the Dwarf Poinciana tree. The small are from 2 different Palmetto trees

Your header photo is gorgeous, nice to see how you did it. Those seed pods are really pretty even when they are dried.
That chain link fence does add some great texture.
I, too, love the header photo. Enjoy the day, Sandra.
Hi dear. What wonderful ideas you have....
I am better now, as you can imagine.
Hope you are fine also...

As an avid scrapper, I can honestly say that I would never, ever, ever have come up with using a chain link fence for texture. :) Amazing work Sandra. Thanks for sharing.
You are so creative, my friend! You take the best pics. How can you think of this stuff? I also love the green bottle....
You are "Bokah-ing" all over the place. -giggles-
Very interesting, the seed pods. What a great Photo Op they make.

Pretty header! I really like the green bottle. I would have never guessed that was a chain-linked fence giving you that cool background.
Familiar and oh so pretty. Lovely shots.
Love this awesome background and header design, Sandra.
cheers :)
I love your header photo, what a cool bottle. Looking pretty with the seed in them. Have a great day!

love the light and shadow in the palm frond shot. and the green bottle makes a great vase. :)
I like your seed pods in a bottle, but the photos from your yard are wonderful as well.
What beautiful pictures...the green bottle is perfect for the burgundy pods.
Beautiful header.

Love the pods-I've enver seen them before!
I like the idea of using them for decoration; especially in the green bottle! Very pretty!
Thanks for stopping by with the B-Day wishes! My Mom is loving your photos! We live in Florida too.
Lovies, Miss Mindy
awesome shots Sandra....I love that bottle..
These are wonderful...
I like putting those in the wine bottle - you could put some lights in the bottle - would be pretty.
Pretty cool dried arrangement there. I never would have guessed that was sitting on a grill. Love all the shots
