What a view you have from your front door. Those bougainvillea are gorgeous. Most everything around here looks like that limb that is almost bare. But it won't be much longer before everything blooms .... I hope.
We are seeing the first lovely signs of spring. So easy to notice after the browns and grays of winter. We never appreciated spring so much when we lived in the land(s) of endless summer--southern California and Charleston, S.C.. I do prefer four well-defined seasons. Alas, we seem to have missed winter this year!!
My goodness! Your world is so different than mine up here in northern California! Loving the bougainvilleas. Some people can grow them here, but it requires covering it and pampering more than I have time for. Thanks for posting this lovely one.
They are lovely and you made me miss ours that we had at our Los Angeles house. We had a 7 foot fence covered in three different colors that then mixed on their own and created even more colors. I'm so glad you liked Soldier's ears -- they weren't supposed to be in the picture, but I thought they were cute too.
Lovely shots, Sandra. I love the bougainvillea tiny white flowers in the middle of the of all that vivid color. But not the thorns that bites me when I clip them back. cheers :)

That's it. I'm moving to Florida. Or at least spending lots of time there when I get my RV one day. :) Just beautiful!
Sandra, These photos are so pretty! I love flowers against a blue sky.
It is such a hardy beautiful plant but oh the big thorns are not to be tangled with.

What glorious color!
I love the rich color of this variety. And with the beautiful backgrounds of blue sku and fluffy white clouds . . . yum!
As I look out my window at all the freshly fallen snow, I am happy to come over here and see hope that spring will come back and stay soon....
Thank you for sharing your pretty flowers!

I do say!!! They are BRIGHT! :-)
The bougainvillea is gorgeous. I have some in a pot that I overwintered in my sun room but it sure doesn't look like this!
lovely red, white and blue!

RE: in my blog...
It's not a ghost, Dear. It's "The Good Home's Fairy," by Larsson. I was mesmerized by it toooooooo!!!!
Lovely colors to face every day, I love them. Thank you so much for sharing.

Those red blossoms serve as a great contrast to that gorgeous blue sky. You are fortunate to have such wonderful views just outside your front door.
I like the flowers with the palm tree
Hi Sandra, That Bougainvillea is absolutely gorgeous. AND--that blue sky is awesome.
We are having fabulous weather here too--and our Red Bud is blooming like crazy.
Hugs,
Betsy
