Did you know you can blog from your email? go to Dashboard/Settings/mobile email and create your email address. I crossed mine out with blue ink.
type your message and add your photos and click send and it will appear. you can click the circle with how you want it to
go into your post. mine go to drafts for me to check them first. With mine I have to change my fonts in email to a light color because I have a black background.
PS.... everyone is asking how we are, the only damage from the storm was another banana tree down....some wind and about 3 inches of rain is all we got.... but others in FL got 10 inches of rain.
We are fine and praying New Orleans will be fine to.
also, using email to post is for emergency use only, it is awkward to use and is only if you are out and want to post and update or if blogger is on the blink with uploads.

Woof! Woof! Mom avoids blogging using her mobile phone. Glad not much damages from Isaac. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
I have this set up on my phone but I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet. It is pretty cool.
Sorry about the banana tree.
Thanks for the info although I'm still a basic blogger when it comes to technology as you can tell from my blog!
Glad the hurricane has passed you and thinking about others over there. Hope you're feeling a lot better now.
Yes I did know but do not find it convenient, so pleased to read you came through the latest storm ok.
That is interesting. I had seen it but didn't think I would need to use it, but it is handy to know. Glad you are safe. I was thinking of yu. I hope NEw Orleans is not too badly damaged.
So thankful your damage was minimal. Praying for all those in the path of the storm today. I've been watching the coverage on tv this a.m.
Is there any advantage to blogging through e-mail? If so, I'll readjust my brain to figure it out!
Glad to hear that y'all are o.k.. Haven't heard any news out of New Orleans yet this morning.
Best,
Bonnie
Thanks for the information! I don't think I am that talented, however.... Everyone in New Orleans are in our thoughts and prayers....
I have mine set up to post from email, but have only did it once to see how it works...or more to see that it really does work.
i'm praying for the folks along the gulf today. LA and MS seem to be getting it hard.
thanks for the tip on email posting.
So glad you are safe, but sorry about the banana tree. I had no idea about the blogging from email! I learn something new from my blogger friends everyday!
Good to hear they storm has passed you. Lots of prayers to all of The folks in the Gulf.
So that is what that extra thing is on the dashboard. Mom is so paranoid about loosing our blog she will not try anything new.
MOL
Hugs Madi
You're a much more dedicated blogger than I am -- I'm not sure I would want to use email to post.
I'm glad Issac didn't cause you too many problems. It sounds as if New Orleans is getting a lot of rain.
Hi Sandra.....Good information...quite interesting. Really think the pics are lovely. What is the purple flower?
I didn't know that...I can blog from my phone but it will only put the words at the end of the photos...haven't figured out how to get the words after each photo...so I usually just put the photos on...then go back later to add words...great photos...glad yall made it through the storm...
So glad you are safe!Wanted to tell you that your comment about your mom's azalea bush made me laugh out loud! I could just imagine your surprise when you saw the fake flowers! Also, I like sunshine, too, but we have had drought conditions now for so many years I have lost count. So, rain is always welcomed here! :-)
Glad you all are safe and you did not have a lot of damage. Thanks for the info too but I do not have internet on my phone so do not use email on it. Hugs
Thank you for the personal update! New Orleans seems to be getting pounded. And pounded. And pounded.
Pretty flowers.
Nope, don't want to learn any more "new tricks" with my blog. -grin-
"Auntie"
I am sure I would mess up trying to blog from email- I can't even get it right on my cell phone. Glad you all are ok from the storm.
I did not know you could do that. It sounds like a bit of a pain in the butt though so I can see why you only use it for emergencies. Glad to hear you didn't get hit too bad
Man - I'm still catching up and I was only gone four days. Thought about y'all with the storm. Glad it didn't sweep you away.
I don't send emails from my cell either. lol
Glad you are okay - and just getting rain. Wondering how much rain the people can take there - again.
Love, sandie
I didn't know this. I have so much to learn. :)
Glad you guys are okay. We just got some rain and wind.
It is always good to learn new things.I wish I was more technical. I am glad you did not have much damage...but how many banana trees do you have left?
I knew of the possibility but I haven't tried it, since I'm usually at home. I might read up on it if ever I go away on a longer journey (no such plans at the moment).
Learned about this terrible storm while in Hannover. Photos in news showed bad scenes from New Orleans and some other spot.
So glad you are okay.
