Toddler Two

MadSnapper s Peanut butter of choice
Did you know peanut butter taste divine if you spread it on your bagel/bread of choice  before you toast it?
NO silly! you can't put it in a toaster. I love my bagel with above PB spread on and toasted in my little toaster oven. WARNING! you can burn your tongue, let it cool. PS if you like jelly, put it on AFTER you toast it.

Kellogg Sunny Face
When we get older we are starting to regress backwards to our second time around, or we become Toddler Two, and start to act like the toddler we were.

1. I love PBJ  - so do toddlers

2. I took a photo of the Sunny face that was on the back of my AARP magazine. A two year old would love the face and so do I.

3. I sometimes drop things a lot and stagger, stumble and almost fall down.... so do toddlers

4. I open the fridge and stand staring in trying to remember why I opened it... Toddlers do to, that is why we say WHY did you open the fridge when they do it and stand there.

5. I have a hard time stringing my words together in a coherent sentence.... Toddlers do to.

PS... if I talk with food in my mouth, I choke... if I walk and try to sip my water I choke.
Toddlers do not!  WHY? is the question.

Smuckers Peanut Butter?!! - you couldn't make that name up! Mum LOVES PB too. We've never really grasped the whole PB & Jelly (or Jam as we call it!) thing. Mum quite likes the idea of toasting after the PB is added though.

You know we laugh and it is funny - because we have to keep a sense of humor - but it is true! I think that is why we love our grandchildren and vice versa - we like the same things.

Yes, I'm definitely a Toddler2.
Yummy, I love PB on bagels and toast. Don't have a toaster oven so I do it the old fashion way...in the toaster.
Hmmm, now I am hungry for a little tea and toast.

So that brand wasn't on the recall list?
We rarely eat PB but every now and then a jar comes and goes.

I sure wish I had of read the entire article before trying the hot peanut butter sandwich. At least my wife is happy with the silence after it quit hurting so bad. Sigh.

Very few days go by me that I do not have peanut butter or peanuts. I have never though of toasting bread with the peanut butter on it though, I shall give that a try this evening for my snack. I enjoyed your take on the Toddler Two...gave me a chuckle. Hugs

That is wonderful peanut butter and like you I always go for the CHUNKY or better yet SUPER CHUNK. Every Sunday for breakfast I take the wheatiest grainiest bread I can find at the store (preferably Great Harvest High Fiber), two slices, slather on the super chunk peanut butter, lay them on a large plate and poor milk over them. Give them a few minutes to soak up the milk and then slowly savor it all with a glass of OJ. MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm Good!!!!

Do not tell anyone but I can totally relate to your toddler list. :)

Debra Dickinson said...

I'm with Dee. Can totally relate! LOL. And I think it has something to do with them not minding that the excess food and water runs down their chin to their belly. That may change but right now we're still trying to keep the food in so we choke. :) Or at least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Yep, spreadin' pb on bread to toast (just like butter) is one of those treasures on earth. ;)

Want to hear something funny. On Saturday, the day of this post, I bought a jar of PB. I haven't bought PB in a couple of years. Even though I wasn't online that day looks like I was still receiving the Mad Snappers' vibes.

I'm just cruising though your posts, I don't want to miss anything.
