Breakfast View

While chewing on my bagel with peanut butter/apple butter, I noticed ....

Clutter On The Counter...Snap! Snap! much better than cleaning if OFF the counter.

As I chewed and viewed, I thought WAIT! I am The MADSnapper! I have NEVER Snapped! a twenty dollar bill...

Actually the reason I took the macros is to test my new battery. I replaced the 3 year old Nikon battery with a 14.00 Synergy and it works beautifully.

if you want and extra battery, search by the type and name and you will find Synergy is much less and they work great.

My shocking secret is... I ate white bread.... mayo and mater and bread..

I bought this big guy... but

GUESS WHAT? we have 3 bushes of these type tomatoes and they have FLOWERS.... can you guess what will show up here NEXT?

I can't wait for a bread sized tomato slice, lots of mayo, salt and pepper and yes, white bread!!! No wheat bread for my mater sandwich.

The next time I have clutter, I'm using your idea and state that the clutter is there as a photography "subject". Quite clever!!

Best,

Flowers mean wee little tomatoes will soon appear.

And we can look forward to days and days, of comparing-how-they-have-grown-and-gotten-more-red. -gigggles-

Those sure are great close ups. I LOVE tomatoes. MOM plants a plant just for me. It is mine and I can pick the cherry tomatoes myself...and I do.

I like the snaps you make while having breakfast. The detail on the bill is amazing.

I just can't get it in my head to take pictures of what I see around me...snap, snap, snap...

It seems I have to plan...

When will I learn to be spontaneous?

Love your pictures and the mater.

You got really good detail on the second dollar bill picture, it is quite pretty, and micro tiny stuff I never noticed. I AM honing in on your kitchen, since you invited me. What is the little gizmo on the left, a strange looking phone? It also looks like a little heater with a tube of moisturizer in it! NO wai,t I see a CVS receipt beside it, an adding machine? I know it will not be ANY of these things, but you really should do a contest on the thing. You probably think it is easy because you KNOW what it is. I remember when you used to do macros around your house and we had to guess and I never got it right. That was FUN. Also on the fridge, the striped thing, whhh?

I bet you are looking forward to a homegrown tomato!

Can't wait to see the matters Bob grew for you!

I love that kind of sandwich myself!! Do you want to know what stood out in your first photo? At least to ME? Your fridge!!! There is nothing ON it!!! No magnets, notes, NOTHING! I am so impressed! My fridge is covered up COMPLETELY! I just redid it and have left the bottom freezer drawer portion vacant. I'm looking for ABC magnets and fun things to put there for the grandkids.

There is nothing better than home grown tomatoes! Ours do not do so well......

I am a bagel and peanut butter and tomato sandwich fan, too! Nothing like a good tomato!!

Once again, you have made me laugh. Of course it is a lot more fun taking that photo than cleaning off the counter. After all, you are the MadSnapper, not the Obsessed De-clutterer!

But now I can just taste that "kitchen-sink" mater sandwich. White bread is a must for this sandwich and most times eating it while leaning over the sink to catch the dripping tomato juice is a must, too.

Ruth Hiebert said...

I see many more tomato sandwiches in your future.

Ann said...

I'm now very hungry for a mater sandwich. I haven't had one of those in ages

When I was young and we had garden work our lunch was scrambled egg, mayo and tomato sandwiches...mmmm.

Oh what a yummy looking tomato. Yes on the white bread, Miracle Whip (hubby got me addicted) and salt & pepper. Oh wait, you had other photos too. The tomato has me hypnotized.

That's a great close up of the $20. Looks like the new battery is working great.

Boy, what a view from where you eat looking out to the pool, have you ever cleaned the glass door so clean that you ran into it going out to the pool? I know on those hot days I would forget the door was not open and run right into it.

WHAT an awesome tomato! I too did the same thing the other day, I finally found a produce stand her in the country ( one would think there were be plenty of them... not so) and I racked up on some of those big fat tomatoes. I came home and with fresh soft wheat bread I loaded each slice with mayo and tomatoes and a slice of vidalia onion..... it was so good I had another.... The joys of summer is in a tomato sandwich.

HUM, I need some new batteries so I will check this one out.
