Sunrise in Florida

Sunrise over Palmetto, Florida on Manatee River

I LOVE FLORIDA... and Sunshine is the reason... I feel depressed in gloomy days and rainy days. And here we have sunshine almost every day of the year. We get our autumn color from the rising sun, but you have to be up to see it.

The photo below is one I took of a sunrise. I decided to change it..
I added layers and a map of the United States to the photo below in Photo Shop... JUST Because

And I saw this site The Photo Argas  abstract photography and  now you know what I will be focused on for a while. I can't tell you how much I love these abstracts...

Above photo taken of Neon Lights on Checkers Burgers in early AM....

Saskatchewan has lots of sunshine too. Even in winter. It's that cold and snow I can't stand that comes with it! LOL!
Lovely shots!

Send me sunshine this winter. I am already dreading the clouds.

It is always worth getting up early! Now I am going to check out the abstract link you posted.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! I went to the site and just had a minute to check it out, but I love it from first look and it is now a shortcut on my desktop! I can't wait to look all through it. Did you take the second picture, then edit it into the first one? Where and how? Is it from this site and then you edited it? It is totally OFf the HOOK!!!

I love any sunrise Sandra, yours is beautiful.
Don't think about coming to uk if you don't like gloomy weather, most of our winter is overcast and gloomy.
Does get to you by the time the Spring arrives.

what a pretty sunrise. I wish we had sunshine every single day. Even though the sun does rise every day it spends too much time in the clouds around here.
I clicked on your link and WOW those are some awesome pictures

That's a gorgeous sunrise. We are now beginning that time of year when I get to watch the sunrises from the driver seat of the bus. This unfortunately is not good for photography.

Amazing sights from the sunshine state.

Love the neon and how you created the coherent color and shape in the header. This time, though, the original sunset was the image that had me smiling and thinking about sitting on a balcony with a morning cup of hot tea!

Maybe the difference in the preference between the abstract and original sunrise reveals who are doers and who are sitters. Now you know which group I'm in.

Love the sunrise!

Sunrise is beautiful, I agree, Sandra, but that would mean I have to get up earlier to actually see it. So for me, sunsets are the subject to photograph!

Thanks for the link to the Photo Argus site...some really cool ideas there.

That is so cool. The state of FL should use it in their advertising. But I also love the original photo just cause I love sun rises and sunsets.

I haven't done any abstracts in awhile, maybe I need to play a little too.
