Once Upon a Giant Avocado Seed

Once upon a time, a really, really LARGE avocado fell on the roof of MadSnapper's house

Bob, the man who planted the seed, that grew the avocado tree from a seed,  ate the giant avocado.

All by himself. With a spoon and salt and pepper.

Bob handed MadSnapper the SEED.

The biggest seed from the biggest avocado, we have ever seen.

This avocado was ginormous
So was the SEED...

In the search to show you how big the seed is, MS held it in her hand, sat it by a teacup, next to her lens and dropped it in a cup... Alas, I have no photo of the avocado because Bob gave it way before I could snap it.

To see past post on our click on AVOCADO.

My goodness! What a huge avocado that must have been! Did your roof get damaged when it fell? Teehee. It must have a tasty one, too.
Happy November to you! Have a nice day and weekend, too.

I have never seen an avocado that huge before, nor a seed that looks like that. It looks like a sickly brain!
I'll bet it was truly delicious though. Bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado....yummo!

You sure do grow them big!

Bob has a special way with plants! That is huge! He should grow a giant pumpkin....maybe!

Oh my goodness,that is huge.

We both totally agree that it looks like a BRAIN! Paint it light pink and it would have scared away every kid in the neighborhood last night. Will you plant it? I HAVE to think of the giant avocado it would produce, it would be a monster. LOVE your harvest header!

I agree with Sue and Ginny. Is there some creepy post-Halloween significance about the weird brain appearance of your monster (mutant) seed?

That is one heck of an avocado! Almost as big as my monster cabbage. Wow!

Holy smokes, that's one humongous seed

That was the seed? That was huge.

Yikes, that is one giant seed. If the seed was this big the avocado must have been a monster.

I have to agree with the others that it does resemble a brain.

I've never seen an avocado seed that large. I would have loved to see the avocado itself.

I wonder how big the avocado tree will be once this seed sprouts and grows. Fee-fi-fo-fum...

Man, Bob knows avocados, doesn't he!

Wow, that's big. I only know the usual small seeds you pluck out of the avocado!

I'd better not even write what I think that looks like. Scarier than any halloween picture you've produced yet...! LOL

After treading about this ginormous avocado, all I could picture was the giant bowl of guacamole it would have made and how great that would have been with nachos and salsa and sour cream.

I sure hope Bob had enough of the huge avocado . Some times you get more seed than anything else! That seed looks very unusual, not smooth at all.
