No idea why I took this photo , but added red arrows so you can see what hubby does to my kitchen counter which causes me much WOE...
I took the below photos yesterday to show what it is supposed to look like.

really don't want the pills there because I hate looking at them, but if they are not in plain sight I forget our pills.
Note to myself... do a post on Senior Memory... ha ha ho ho how will I remember this.
Now if only those counter tops were Marble.... sigh......and the cabinets were not white and the kitchen was not from 1989....

We are the same way about forgetting medicine. It has to be in plain sight and even then, we have trouble taking it!!!
Your counters are so shiny, clean and pretty.
John likes to keep his things out...like his fav coffee mug, etc. drives me nuts. If not for me, he would never wash the mug!

As for the counter top, I know just what you mean. I can have it all cleaned off and by the time the day ends, it's back to being cluttered! Love the bust!!
you can try retrieving your images from the SD card/s through ZAR recovery program. It's free to install and works pretty good.
My counter is rarely neat. I like my stuff out. You would probably be freaked out. Try formatting the card in the camera you are going to use it with rather than with your computer.
I know you think the kitchen is old, because you are used to it so much, but I think that it really looks nice. The white adds a clean look, and grey and white is a very elegant combination!

I like your Kitchen...my counter top is always a mess...it is clear for like 5 minutes...oh well...we do live in our house..great photos...
Men!!! I was just in the kitchen and right where my husband was fixing his tomatoes last night was a ton of salt on the counter. I've told him before that he needs to put on his reading glasses to see the mess he leaves. Your kitchen looks neat and tidy......
OH DO I AGREE I LOVE A CLUTTER FREE COUNTER AREA SOMETIMES THINGS JUST APPEAR ON OURS TOO BUT IT DOES MAKE FOR DIFFICULTY COOKING. I ALSO LEAVE MY PILL CONTAINER ON THE COUNTER IN THE AM. I DRINK MY COFFEE IN THE MORNING AND SEVERAL OF MY VITAMINS LIKE CALCIUM ARE NOT ABSORBED AS WELL WITH COFFEE SO I TAKE THEM AT LUNCH.

You are much too much of a neat-freak to me... You wouldn't like my house. It's not TOO cluttered --but we make things convenient to find ---and we know it's just ours to look at.. ha ha I do admire you for keeping it so neat... Please come and clean my house!!!!! ha

Your counter (in the bottom pictures) look very much like ours, which I guess makes sense since our house is from that era as well.
Betsy has a husband who also clutters up her counters.
My weekly pill dispenser sits on the counter as well. I just don't remember to take them all otherwise. I like your kitchen, and all the countertop space.
I know what you mean about "stuff" on counters. My Hubby puts it there, too...and then I out it up!! :-) Funny...I want "white" cabinets!!
I actually like your kitchen...love the white....and have no desire for marble.
My counters are always a mess...I used to did not have half the cabinet space and they were neater.

I seem to always be cleaning off the counter tops. In one day they seem to be like magnets collecting things.

My kitchen is even older, I suspect it was last remodeled in the late seventies. I want white cabinets!
You don't have much on your counters but I have even less. My cats would love to play with those pill bottles and they would have Neptune on the floor in no time. And they are of course not allowed on the counter tops. MOL!!!
I think your kitchen looks fresh and clean and neat! And I just read the other day that marble counter tops were going out of style. If you can believe what you read.
Your kitchen looks nice and bright to me! I have white cupboards too. They used to have brass knobs. A few years ago I changed all the knobs to silver. It looks like a new kitchen!

I think your kitchen looks very nice...not dated at all! I'll say one thing...it sure is very clean. That is what I like....a clean kitchen and I try to keep the clutter out of there. Your yellow pill tops looked like a bouquet of flowers when I first looked at the picture. Is that a bust of Bob?.....with the full hair and the beard?
I will change kitchens...mine is a generic 10 year old apartment kitchen...but thankful it serves it purpose. When Max is here...our counter is piled up...:( If company comes I sweep everything into a basket.
i think it is a pretty kitchen, well maintained!! we built our home in 1984, my cabinets and couter tops are the orginal and i think they look amazing!!
