The entrance to Bray Park is bounded by a stone and wood fence with a bright yellow metal gate that is locked at sundown and opened at 7 AM.
This park is where Hubby flies his radio control planes behind chain link fences.
Bray park is more than 120 acres with something for everyone, aquatic center, gym, many fields for football and soft ball, tennis courts, 3 acre fenced dog park for off leash, woods and trails, wild life. and 2 miles from our front door.
There are pavilions to reserve for parties, the day I was there these balloons were dancing on the gate post

I love to watch the boys and men at our park flying their planes. I don't have a plane, but the thought makes me want to fly a kite in the pasture.
Those are sturdy fences! I've seen people flying those planes- it looks like fun, but I would probably crash one right off. I have no sense of direction. Bwaha!
I like that stone-and-wood fence!
I bet this park is fun to roam. I love stone fences.
I do like that stone and wood fence!
love the stone piers and wood rails! and what a nice, lush park!
The stone and wood fence is pretty. There are some of those on Jekyll Island...we see them every summer!
really enjoyed seeing your fence with the stone/ wood... what a beautiful way to fence in Bray Park. as much a fixture to see as the other things in the park... have a great day~
That is cool that pavilions can be reserved for parties. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
I know the folks that construct this type of fence are called stone masons but they really are artists using stone and wood to make their beautiful creations. That's a really nice park, too.
What a pretty park! I'd love to go running there -- and chase those balloons!
Hi Sandra My favorite is the stone and wood fence.
That does look like a good sturdy fence. Now I am off to stroll though your park post ~ the park looks beautiful !
Beautiful! I'd love to walk through Bray Park. Love the stone and wood.
The one with the stone fence posts is just gorgeous. And another lush Florida landscape, so different from mine.
Oh I sure like the stone one.
That is one lovely place, and the welcoming entrance is sure inviting!
Beautiful stone work!
Very nice park and fence. Fun to see where Bob flies his planes.
Wish I could stroll through. The fence is really awesome, and I love the sharp change of the bright yellow gate. Also, the cool nature pictures with the bright yellow balloons, kind of opposites, very good!
I love the stone, it looks like it's been there a long time.
Looks like a pretty place. Guessing it was a little girls party! Not much of a guess though.
Lovely park! I remember you posting about it last year. You are very lucky to have it close by to be able to go there often. It looks very lush and green.

Balloons and fences, what a great post. I love the stone work fence with the wooden rails, it is awesome. Every time you show us Bray Park it makes me want to come see it or at the very least visit our park.
This looks like a wonderful park to have so near your house. I enjoyed your pictures of this beautiful place.
That is a nice stone and wood fence. One of hubby's coworkers flies RC helicopters in the warehouse at work. He'd love a place like this, I'll bet.
That sounds like a great park with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy various activities. I like those fences that blend in well with the naturalness of the park.

How great that you live near so many wonderful natural spaces. My question, are the taxes out of sight to keep such beauties in good shape? Nosy me wants to know before I bug Hubby to move! LOL
