Stuck on Black and White

Saturday, December 20th, While putting my purchase in the trunk, I decided to try the new red camera on Big Black Birds. I snapped this and turned and low and behold... the sky was Gorgeous... I quickly snapped and this is what I got.

THE CAMERA WAS ON MONOCHROME AND I COULD NOT FIND OUT HOW TO GET IT ON COLOR...  I came home and used PicMonkey to paint the sky as I saw it... see below.

It took a few tries but the one below is pretty close to what I saw.. thank you PicMonkey... I painted it in touch up, with the eye tint brush.... and then went to textures and used the cloud thingy...

Who says we can't change a black and white into color... I did.

And yes, I did take the lights in black and white to see what it looked like, then I spent 10 minutes trying to find the spot to change it back to normal settings.

Good Morning. Very pretty sky and I love what you did with the lights. It's really foggy here today.

I hate it when I accidentally change the settings on my camera! ESPECIALLY if I can't immediately figure out what I did and have to go home and actually READ the manual. :) But hey! You did a great job in PicMonkey. I NEVER would have thought of that solution! You are so clever!

I guess its a good thing that I don't know how to change my camera to monochrome in the first place!!

Best,

You did a great job on changing the colors, I don't think I would have guessed if you hadn't told us. I also love your header photo. Truly gorgeous! Thanks for stopping by and telling me how you do your hoppin' john. I will use that recipe. Interesting about the Yankees.

It is always a challenge to figure out new stuff!!! Sometimes I drag my feet in getting anything new in the electronics field. I know I am going to go a little bit crazy trying to figure out how to USE it!!!

LOVE the last picture, the light reflections! And the birds, the black and white is awesome, I love the wing action on the bird on the left, so beautiful. Your sky edits are really natural looking! And so pretty. When you say all the things you did, I am lost. I guess I will never learn major stuff like you. An eye edit on sky? But it all worked great!
