All Done!!!

The Christmas Tree is down, the glass is cleaned and replaced.. You know I had to document it...  My apologies to my friend Mersad for the following jokes.. and to all attorneys that might read this.

Taken from Disorder in the Courts.. thanks to my friend Lola for these. You can lay the blame on Lola Mersad, not me.

Attorney: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning?
Witness: Did you actually pass the bar exam?

Attorney: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all?
Witness: Yes
Attorney; In what way does if affect your memory?
Witness: I forget
Attorney: You forget? Can you give us an example of something you forgot?

Attorney: What gear were you in at the moment of impact?
Witness: Gucci sweats and Reeboks

Attorney: What is your date of birth?
Witness: July 18th
Attorney; What year?
Witness: Every year

Have a great Saturday!

No need to apologize Sandra! :D These are funny. Also I'll be a lawyer in July this year if everything goes right, so I have about half a year left to really make fun about them, before becoming one myself :D

Love the look of all your glass. I like the one that looks like a lightbulb.

As a long-time court reporter and now in retirement as a proof reader of legal proceedings, I have a whole file of crazy things people have said. Here are a couple of my favorites from real life attorneys:

Prosecuting attorney: I only have one other witness, Your Honor, just a short officer.

Q. Have you ever gone by any other names besides Jane Smith?
A. No.
Q. Are you married?
A. No.
Q. So you never had a maiden name?
A. No.

A witness was testifying about prior injuries he had sustained and recounted that in 1953 he had broken his collarbone while driving a 1948 Farmall tractor.
Q. Did that tractor have power steering?

Great new header! And I worked in a Law Office as a Legal Secretary for several years up in Alaska. Your "question-answer" session is hilarious!!

mol mol mol I might need to hire your attorney friend if I'm closed in a drawer again. Never fear that saga will be revisited many times so someone never ever forgets.
Your glassware is beautiful

LOVE the dumb lawyer jokes!!! Your glass looks so pretty all lined up. One of our doctors said they are leaving their Christmas decorations up at home until the middle of Feb. That sounded good to me, anything to avoid work! So ours are still all up (we didn't have a tree anyway because of the cats) and I am enjoying them through the bleak winter. When I take everything DOWN, I will put Easter UP! It comes early this year.

Thanks for the giggle. Sometimes people really do say the craziest things.
Your glassware is so shiny and pretty. Love the way you show it off.
It's a relief when the Christmas stuff is finally put away but at the same time I miss the lights and sparkle.
Our neighborhood looks so dull now.

I still have all of my Christmas up except I did take all of the decorations off the tree that is in the living room with the angels on it. I had hoped that my husband would take the tree down today, but I guess he wasn't up to doing it today! lol So Christmas is still going on at my house! lol

It's satisfying to see everything clean and sparkling. Your glass items must give you a lot of pleasure. I love my mirrors and candles/lights reflecting in them too.

The lights with your glass looks so pretty. I finally finished taking down all the ornaments from the big trees. One was done last weekend and I finished the second one on Sunday. House looks back in order.....except for those boxes in my office that I have to go through.
