Misc..Etc...Etc...Etc..

Jimmy brought a laundry basket full of these papaya, we brought this one home. YUCKY YUCKY YUCKY... Bob ate it.. not me... they were HUGE, 10 inches long. Do you eat papaya?

If I missed your post yesterday, we were without Internet/TV/Phone for 16 hours. YOWSA! like being thrown back in the 50's.

Can anyone tell me what this is on the ladder? Fort Bratz kids put it up on their roof...
NEWS ALERT!  Our Sunshine came back at 11 AM Friday.. Yippeee

Yes, I know this photo of men taking down the Christmas tree on top of Blake Hospital is not worth showing. BUT.... it was 6 floors up, I was 6 double rows of parked cars away, sitting in my car, with little red pocket camera sitting on steering wheel....  Can't believe it got all the detail from that far.

Below is the HANDICAP stall in the ladies rest room at Blake Hospital.
The reason for the photo??????
the stall is 3 feet wide and 8 feet long.
Handicap? as in Wheel Chair Accessible?
NO, I did not have my measuring tape with me.. I counted the 12x12 tiles.
JUST FOR YOU...
you can Thank Rich for being sick in the hospital or you might have missed all this.

Just in case you are wondering.. I was standing up when I took the photo.

We have papaya from time to time. I like it with a little lime juice. In fact, I'll try most anything once.

Best,
Bonnie

you're goofy. :) but, yeah, that stall doesn't seem to fit 'regulation standards!'

don't think i've had papaya. glad you said what it was.

the internet outage would have made me crazy, too. we're addicted.

and that looks like a microphone to me - like they're trying to listen in on folks.

I've never eaten papaya.I'm not keen on tropical fruit. How is Rich? I think I might have missed some of your posts due to on/off internet server problems myself. I keep writing very quickly in case communications are cut off through no fault of my own or the computer.

That stall picture made me laugh, along with the commentary. I thought Rich was out of hospital. Is he okay? You have a great camera with that kind of zoom. As for papayas, I have never tried them but I do like mangoes. Anything like those? Have a good one :)

we had the cable guy here on Sunday. we've had trouble with our internet, cable and home phone for over a month now. our cable company gave us a month credit for our troubles. :) finally some real customer service.

I can't believe your adult neighbors allow the children to play with a ladder.

I do hope that Rich is doing better. As for the tree, why don't they just leave it there?? I don't understand all the taking down and putting up again in 10 months. And yes, I LOVE papaya, but haven't tasted a good papaya since I lived in Bolivia. Those were delicious!

I bet you suffered withdrawal with no internet/tv/phone for 16 hours! I know I would.

I have not tasted papaya...does not look appealing.

You are a crazy kind of wonderful!!!!

Your blog is playing a song!! I like mangoes but have never tried papaya. But I have learned that with many fruits, the smaller they are the better their flavor is. Bigger is not always better. That stall is a joke, there is no wheelchair that would fit. This is shameful considering it is in a hospital! On the ladder is a big microphone so the brats can record all their mayhem.

Never had a papaya but it is very photogenic. I can't wait to hear what FT Bratz does with that...thing... Out sunshine appeared for an hour yesterday and then disappeared, and did the same thing today. :( I am so happy when I see it. I hate when it goes away.

No I do not eat papaya's but only because I've never tried one. I like Mango's. Great detail from your camera and yes that bathroom stall is very narrow!

I think I've eaten papaya, but I can't remember what it tasted like. I suppose I wasn't too thrilled with it, as I've not kept buying it...? Blander than it looks, perhaps??

I love papaya...good papaya. Like any fruit, some can be a bit off in taste. I bought a cantaloupe the other day that was terrible. Maybe try a smaller one before you say NO to papaya.

Hi Sandra......About the ladder.....First thing I thought of - they have a mike and are listening to Sandra and Bob! Geez..I hope not but it sure looks like it. Why would their parents let them play with a ladder? Those are the kind of kids that never get hurt!!!!!

I don't think I have ever had papaya. I had a mango last week and it was so hard and starting to turn brown. I told Jim - no more mangoes for me...I really don't like them.

Hope all is good with you.

I'm laughing now over you standing up when you took that last picture.
