This is a Sv-av30 Panasonic Camcorder. It belonged to the Mother of my friend Rich. He gifted it to me and isn't it the cutest thing ever? It takes movies, does audio voice recording and takes photos, 4 megapix.
The itty bitty scren turns round and round, it fits in the palm of my hand and has a case that snaps on belt of waist band.

My Rebel was repaired and I used it to take the Cardinal pic in tomorrows post. So happy to have it back home and waiting on the table.
The photos are not great quality, but do look OK on the blog and I thought I could use it to make small movies for the blog. BUT the movies play and talk in the camera but in the computer no sound... Can't figure it out. I google searched the problem until my head hurt.
It really takes great selfies because the screen turns around, This camera was from BEFORE smart phones and BEFORE selfies were invented.. I took it to the YMCA and 3 of us had the giggles playing with it.

That is a cutie! I'm so sporadic on blog visiting right now that I missed the fact that your Rebel was ailing. I do recognize that clean look--mine looked that way when it came back from the camera hospital. I had to send mine to Virginia for service but it was a very quick turnaround.

What a fun retro technie gadget and it takes great selfies too! Sometimes, the oldies are the best cause they surely don't make them like they used too, unfortunately that goes for workmanship and quality as well.
