Again with the All About Nothing Post

This most loved little candle holder is only 2 inches tall.  I took the photo Just Because I could..
It has been sitting all alone in my drafts for who knows how long because I Had Nothing to say about it.

I went shopping the day before Valentine Day. Standing in line behind a really cute young man,  I watched as he unloaded his basket...

6 pack of grape soda
small frozen pizza
box of Eggo waffles
bottle of syrup
1 Valentine Card
1 small heart shaped box of Funky Monkey Candy
4 live red roses
and an ITunes card

I surmised he is single, lives alone, was having waffles for breakfast and pizza for lunch and taking his Valentine out for dinner to give her the above presents since he had nothing for dinner.

I LOVE PEOPLE watching. Just Because I can.

Friday morning during a physical, the PA said,
I am going to give you a memory test. Remember these 3 words... Watch, Apple, Penny. Now I am going to distract you. she asked 4 questions and said I will be right back. She came in with a round circle on a tablet and said  "put the numbers on this clock"    I did... she said "put hands on and make it 10 after 6" and I did.... she said what were the three words I told you to remember"
I said Watch, Apple, Penny... she said you have No Alzheimer....
I tell you this because if you need PROOF I am NOT losing it.. You now have it...
She did not do a test for Madness and there is a slight chance for doubt.

OH MY WORD! Your post on a Monday morning is so cheery! Thanks for making me chuckle. I love your "take" on the candle holder. I love standing in queues and working out what the person in front of me is having for dinner, or baking or making. No wonder you don't have Alzheimer! I liked the test at your medical appointment, although I panicked when I thought I'd remembered the three items and had to go BACK to check them. Mmm. Have a WONDERFUL day my sweet friend. (((Hugs))) Jo xx

Good morning, I passed my memory test too. LOL, I do get a chuckle after reading your post. Now, I am thinking about Sheldon on Big Bang Theory going around saying he is not crazy his mother had him tested. Pretty shot of the candle.
Happy Monday, enjoy your day!

I love your "about nothing" posts. You find the best things to post about. I think I'm going to have to start keeping an eye on what people are buying in line ahead or behind me.
As for the test, I think I might have failed that one. After getting to the end of your post I had already forgotten what the three words were.

I love to people watch as well. I was figuring the young man out as I read the info. lol
The memory test wouldn't be fun for me. Hubby and I played Scattergories with Kyle and Kealey last night and I came in 3rd place, son came in 1st. 10 years ago I would have kicked those kid's butts. lol Now, my mind goes blank!

we're getting light snow/sleet this morning. thank goodness I work from home and son can drive my suv because his vette isn't good in this weather.

I bet you've got that cute young man figured out, Sherlock! Watch, Apple, Penny. My aunt was asked to count backwards from 100 by sevens! BTW, I love the photo!

Thank you sweet Sandra for giving me Monday morning giggles. I have never had a memory test if I ever do I hope it is on one of my better days. lol When I saw the picture of your candle holder I thought oh, I have one just like that. But then when I read that yours is only 2 inches tall then I knew they were different. Mine is about 4 inches tall. Hugs sweet friend, Maggie

I'm laughing, I'm laughing, I'm laughing. Hubby says judging by what he has in his basket he would vote for him for President. H loves eggo waffles, not my thing but what the heck. How about that test? I'm almost afraid to take it myself ;)

a photo blog friend once told me I could make a good photo out of nothing. I thought that was funny. I now say, you can make an interesting blog post out of nothing! Now that's talent!

She could probably tell there was Madness afoot without a test! LOL Glad you got a good report. Cute little candle holder. It has now been a featured item and feels better about itself.

You are so funny! I love to people watch, too. It's especially fun to see what they buy at the grocery store. I have to laugh to myself at the ones whose carts are full of nothing but junk food. I want to ask where are the fruits and veggies? lol! But I don't dare.
Okay...Watch, Apple, and Penny. Did I pass? I think I did! Yay!

Well, that was quite a test and I'm glad you Passed!

Agreed that people watching is endlessly fascinating and waiting in line at the grocery store is the best. It is amazing to see what others put in their carts and, of course, they may be watching us as well. But then it could be because we don't have any chips, cookies, soda or frozen food in our cart. Fun description of the memory test.

People watching is fun. The weird thing to think about is that people are "watching" us too! - Good job on that memory test.

LOL!!!
About the madness test.

I like to watch people too. That's cute about the young single guy.

We saw the sheriff visit our next door neighbor today and then drive across the street to the other neighbor...people watching....I would love to know what's going on!
