Chain saw

This post has been in drafts for a month... The Man and his Chainsaw makes me crazy. It is not that I am afraid he will suddenly turn into...well, the chainsaw killer from Texas... it is I am afraid he may KILL himself by accident... I saw with my own eyes him holding the chainsaw up over his head sawing on a limb that
A., could fall on him
B. or he might  drop the chainsaw  on his head.
C.  the saw could slip and saw down over his arm and cut it off.  Fall on his leg or foot..

I stay close to the phone when he has the saw revved up.

When he lays the saw down and starts to brush the pool, I sit in the swing with my camera swing back and forward, back and forward until I am bored and then....... can you see the swinging in the photo?

I walk to the fence up front to stare at the pile of limbs he has cut, there were 2 of these piles. Then I go back to him and say hold out your arm so I can photograph that cut.... NOPE not with the saw, a limb fell on his arm.... no phone was needed...   He burned about 400 calories and the MADsnapper burned 50. If Only I could connect my calorie burner to ANXIETY I would be a size 6 in a month.

I would be having anxious moments too. Blokes think they are invincible what ever their age.

Need to be careful in doing any work...

That sounds dangerous... My husband used a chainsaw once and managed to destroy a small vegetable patch in the process...

Wow, I would be scared too. That cut on his arm looks bad. I hope he is careful. Men have to act tough all the time. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

Ouch his limb had a bad limb injury.
Chainsaws scare me to death. We don't own one.
Neither of us grew up with our Dad's using them so we are clueless
Whew glad all ended well.

Will you city pick up debris like that? We have to bundle and tie any limbs etc in bundles no longer than 2'
in

Grant has a double cut like that on his leg. Grrr. Wow, I would be anxious with that chainsaw operator as well! BTW We need a chainsaw to cut Rina's dining table to size. But of course, you're too far to lend it to us. Thanks for a wonderful post. We vintage ladies ALL relate. Blessings Jo

I don't know if you could even see me if anxiety burned calories! I might just disappear.

I could definitely feel the swinging to and fro in those shots. Will the city pick up the piles of brush? Ours does, but sometimes they lay a while.

I know exactly what you go through because I feel the same way when BG gets out the chainsaw to trim limbs. It makes me cringe in fear until he's finished. Those things are dangerous, I don't care how many times he's used it. He tells me if that scares me then I should see him at work. I say No Thanks! What I don't see doesn't worry me as much.

John has turned my hair WHITE with things similar to your chainsaw man! That cut looks bad.

The use of that chainsaw would make me nervous as well.

Men do some of the craziest things. I think they are under the impression that they are invincible.

I'm glad that injury was from a limb (that's bad enough)! It looks like it should hurt. Remember the rules Sandra: Take pics first, then call 911. ;)

If anxiety burned calories, I would be a size two here lately. My husband must too have the sawing bug. He spent yesterday evening walking the fence line, with his chain saw, sawing limbs over his head.
