Singing in the rain

Bob was NOT singing in the rain, he was swimming during the Hurricane Hermione.. and I was hanging out the door yelling. I HEAR THUNDER! and a few things not to be repeated here..

It was POURING RAIN...BOOM! Flash!

I snapped photos and nagged while he scowled at my camera and my Vivid Imagination ran through dozens of scenarios...

Like if the lightning hits him, do I try to get him out? or do I call 911 first? will the water fry me if I do? If he is half alive am I able to get him out of the pool? Do I even want to try?????
Just so you know...

The Wal-Mart bag was not to keep his hair dry, it was to protect the $3600.00 hearing aids in his ears... from the rain, not the swimming. We were suffering from cabin fever, but I am the SMART ONE... Not Me Sisters. ..

I can see the raindrops all over the pool surface! Men will be men, but it is not safe in the water in a storm...or in the tub...or washing your hands or hair.

Men will do the craziest things and you can't tell them anything. At least he made for blog fodder :)

Bob & Jake have the same reaction to your camera! Funny how Bob and John's hearing aids have "selective hearing!"

I am LOLing so hard I can hardly type!!
Oh my word you have made my day.
I once used Walmart bags to cover my shoes when I was caught at work w/o boots on a very rainy day and I had to walk a long way. Now I know I can use the bag as a shower hat. Multipurpose

I believe Men are very stubborn individuals . And I am sure 90% of husbands say we have loss our crackers and we are suborn and drive them to do all theses crazy things.

I bet he loved you telling us all about his ear equipment and a bag hat picture. Your right though.Dangerous. Why would he wear them in his ears when in water? Does he not know water and storms do not mix?

Another friend he puts his hearing-aids in the drawer. Says it is too loud when wearing. Duh. That is what he needs it for as not to drive his lady mad. Repeating. Uh. Geeeeeeeeish.

My friend has a hubby who used to go cut branches high up on his Ceder tree's on a rickety 50 year old ladder. She said she would yell. Get down off that ladder you will fall. And she finally had to go get in the car and come back hours later. She said if she did not. She would have an heart-attack right on the spot and be not good to him period.

Good morning, Sandra! Being in the water or near the water in a thunder storm I thought was a bad thing to do. Years ago, my girlfriend was knock off her feet unconscious ( she was lucky to come too after a little bit) while watching a boat show during a freak lightning bolt. I believe men are all stubborn. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

I'm seriously soooo scared of lightening (that) I won't shower or put my hands in dishwater if there's thunder/lightening in the area. Fortunately, we don't get so much here in Phoenix ... but I remember early on, our meteorologist, Dick Fletcher, telling me Clearwater was the lightening capital of the world. Once the wall-mount telephone in my mom's kitchen down in Port Charlotte was struck and totally fried. We couldn't bear to imagine if she'd been talking on it at the time.

PS - Don't be scowling, Bob. You've probably more women to gaze at your physique than at Playgirl. :) (Do they still publish that mag?)

Hello Sandra!:) Oh! So so dangerous! Men live on a different planet most of the time.

Yep, like everyone else said!!!!

Oh my, so scary. We don't get much thunder/lightning in these parts.
Love your historic photos of Bob though, especially with his "headgear".
So sorry you have got cabin fever though. Buckets of rain can do that to you.

OOOOOO!!! The Walmart chapeau is a first for me! My Walmart fashion necessity was also to protect aids: Walmart bags over my shoes while I was gardening so wet and soil would not get to the electronics in my shoe, all part of the expensive aid that helps me walk.

Really, he had to swim during the hurricane?

I would really worry if you handed him a Conquistador's helmet to swim him!

that's a darn good reason to wear a Wal-mart bag on his head. LOL! he's so funny! I'm with you, I would be inside!!
