The Day after my Birthday Post

The week before my birthday, I received a buy one get one free burger coupon from Culvers. I said this is good until Sept 5th.  My birthday burger will be free. Then an hour before we were to leave for Culvers, I received an email coupon for a free sundae on my birthday. They KNOW ME WELL.... 99 percent of my birthday lunches are burgers, my favorite of all foods. Bob said How did they know today is your birthday? I have no clue. But who cares?

My friend Lola came to YMCA with a new aluminum card holder and my wallet that fits in my pocket is falling apart so I NEEDED one. Thank you Lola for the idea
UPDATE: when I went to the Y this morning and told Lola what I ordered, she is going home to order her Dirt Devil. Amazon should pay us commission.
Yes, I did order this color

The very day I was ready to order the card holder thingy, I made a discovery.

It seems the only person who uses the dirt devil and her initials are MS, threw out
the filter and the adapter that holds the filter. Plus, the motor was full of STUFF because afore said MS had been using it for who knows how long with no filter.
I have no memory of this..
A new dirt devil was only 6 dollars more than a filter/adapter.  Mind you, a dust pan would do the same thing or so my conscience said while I was pushing the Amazon one click order button for both items.

It says the loop is a locker hanger. why would I take all this to the YMCA?

I wandered through WM to get a little more walking in on the day before my birthday and a tech  bag that has a pocket for a Kindle,  a Tablet and a Phone plus the new card holder thingy, reached out and tugged on my mind.

Yes, I  will only use it for when I go to doctors or someplace I have to wait...but I knew it was meant to be since the tag $8.88 but when I scanned it, it was on sale for 6.96.
I love shopping for my own gifts...

I can hardly believe the price of the tech bag!! It is perfect. And the card holder is pretty! I have been known to throw away things I shouldn't, and also have no memory of it. I guess it's a good thing to not remember dumb things we do. The Culver's mystery continues. Ask them next time you go, I bet they would be glad to tell you. I bet we all want to know now.

HAPPY HAPPY Birthday for yesterday, Sandra. I was nowhere near Blogger but managed to get a post up today (with BD messages for YOU from Eddie and Skabenga!) I love the metallic card holder; Grant needs one. He lent me his wallet to buy sweets (candy) while we were away for the weekend, and the coins poured out into the fudge container in front of me. There I was, with the young assistant, scrabbling to dig coins out in between the caramel and peppermint sweets. Have a great day. Jo

I use one of those card holders. I had one that was blue with owls on it but it wore out. Now I have a plain red one.
A broom and dust pan may dot he job just as well as the dirt devil but for some reason it seems like more work.
I like that bag and you can't beat the price.
I went to the mall yesterday to get extra steps in and because I was bored. I walked the entire mall and browsed a few stores.

Glad the cardholder is aluminum. You'll be safe in a lightening storm. I read the bag description as eleven pounds and thought geez louise--haha.

Oh how nice from your friend and then the other food gift.

I think you had a super birthday for sure.

The bargains you dont get.

My fav also Hamburgers. I love Sundays also but dont go too much here as they are arm and leg. My neighbor told me this week.

Dairy Queen has a meal, drink and a Sunday for five dollars on a certain day.

Hard to believe.

It is in the next town. They moved there now two years. Business has been down hill.

I mean they have so much competitions with eating and ice-cream places. I am sure that is why the low prices.

I hadn't seen those Shell-D, I am going to get me one!
I really enjoyed Culver's when I was in Florida. I heard they are getting a Sprout's near my dad's. It is a health food type store that I love, I shop there every week.

I like your goodies. My brother has always given cash to his children (now adults) and he always jokes with them that he would have just bought them a stripe turtleneck!

Happy Belated Birthday to you my friend. Somehow though, I feel being born in the war years must have made us strong too. I hope you enjoyed your burger and the gifts you bought for yourself. Those are always the best, one click away. Have a very happy year ahead.

Being as my wristlet is practically on the injured reserve list, I'm going to check out that Shell-D card holder.

LOVE your reasoning on the Dirt Devil. :) Isn't on-line shopping the BEST?!
