We are fine

Matthew is directly across the state from us, the big red is Mathew the tiny red dot is US. we are expecting up to 4 inches of rain here and winds to 50 all day today and tonight. We will just get the edge of the storm.

My 2nd Cataract is gone, this surgery was not a piece of cake like the other. I am glad I had the good experience first or I might have canceled the 2nd... It is over, I am fine, I may or may not be reading and commenting today... waiting to see how the eye works with reading. Also from laying wrapped like a mummy for 1 hour and 40 minutes on a flat hard surface, my back is NOT happy..

I look really scary now that I can see but not quite this bad..

God bless you. Hope you feel better soon and glad you are not any closer to the worst of the storm. Keep us posted as you feel up to it.

I know just what you mean about the '2nd time' around with surgery.

Just glad it's over and you are home, safe.......tho a bit wet it seems. Hope there'll be no flooding. By the looks of Matthew, it just may go out in the Atlantic and turn around and come BACK. At least right now [4 a.m.]

Hello, I am glad you are safe from Hurricane Matthew, I was thinking of you yesterday. I am glad the first eye went well, wishing you a quick recovery from this second eye surgery. Take care and please follow the doctors orders.

Happy Friday, have a happy weekend!

100 minutes "wrapped like a mummy"?! Good grief, did someone forget about you? That had to be awful, but I'm really glad to know it's over.

I don't think I've ever paid so much attention to the Weather Channel as what I have in the last 24 hours. Thank goodness, Matthew doesn't 'seem' to be the bully we all were expecting.

I hope the second surgery will prove to have been as successful as the first, once you've healed from it.
