Drought 2

Can you find the BEE above? not so good photo but I almost got him/her. The bees are gone because the flowers are gone.

Above are avodcado leaves that should be on the tree, we are in drought and the leaves and flowers are falling off. The flowers are blooming because I water them from the rain barrel which is now empty.
The only color on the red hibiscus bush

All the red flowers are gone, these have been in drafts for about 10 days

So sad looking. I can see all the poor dead or dying leaves. But your bee in flight is excellent!! I can even see his wings shimmering and flittering! Poor bees, poor everything. As if the bees didn't have enough to deal with, what with colony collapse and everything else.

So very sad.

I hope that you will have a nice Sunday.

I thought of you yesterday. It was raining here and I was thinking I wished I could send you some of it.

Hi Sandra, drought conditions are so sad. I always imagined only Africa suffered. I hope you have relief in summer showers. We are entering a dry period until late in November all things being equal.

I saw several bees before the close-up--haha.
Torrential rain in western PA yesterday. Drove the tournament pescators off Lake Pymatuning before noon but they still won 2nd place and lunker fish. Sounds like we need some balance between here and there.

OMCs MS mom and I sure do hope and purr and pray that the rain moving across the US towards the East will some how find its way to Florida.
This is just scary for you all
Hugs madi and mom

I hate that all the flowers and plants are drying up with the drought. Glad the bees have moved on to some other area so they can still move the pollen around. I see the bee. Good shot.

How sad that the rain clouds are not headed in that direction. Sadly other parts are getting too much rain.

Oh so sad Sandra! In our drought last Summer most of the leaves fell off our Maple trees. We were raking in July.
Take care.

I am so sorry... I wish I could send you the 7 inches of rain we got this weekend. I am not rubbing it in... I truly wish we could send some MissouREE rain to you. When you have been through drought you never forget it. I felt so helpless during our years of drought. I see that little bee... :)

Such a drastic change. That is so disappointing.

I was about to comment on those red flowers looking like miniature fireworks ... when I read (that) they're gone, as well. :(
The avocado leaves are sobering, indeed. Nature can be so cruel.

Wishing you three a sweet day!

I see your bee! As Pix said, we've had too much rain now here in MO and I wish I could send some your way. It seems like we either get too much or not enough. I remember drought years, they are miserable. Hope your weather changes soon!

I know just what it's like...that drought. We had one last about 3 years. And it's NO GOOD. Our lawn dried up, even with Bud watering it. Nothing did any good. I hope you get some much needed rain. Sooner than later.

It is always a bit scary for me when we have the droughts...we have had enough rain to share with you if I could send it down there!

Looks quite dry. Too bad.

It's the same here. I keep seeing clouds, but they just blow over. It's very frustrating.

Hope you get some rain soon. The drought here in California was bad, then they have had all this rain since November. Now since we arrived the weather is glorious. Love those red flowers.
