Eye Ball this

There has been a diVision in our house since Bob's stroke. His vision had blurred in his right eye. For 4 months Bob has made quite the spectacle of himself when I mentioned the words Eye Exam.

Eye prevailed, and dragged him by the hair of his chinny chin chin to the optometrist visit. Apologies if my puns get cornea and cornea...  You all know bad puns are how eye roll....

Bad News - he has very little sight in the right eye. Good news, he will have 20/20 in the left eye, if he follows the Bad news of removing the cataract.  He thinks it is all Bad News..

Good news is the faxed referral that we thought would take a month, generated a call the NEXT day and an appointment with the surgeon for evaluation on Nov. 1st.

My Good News was the fact the below article was sitting on the desk in front of Me and My Cell Phone.... PLUS I found some cool effects in Lunapic

Sorry to hear about Bob's eye problems but I'm glad you got him to the doctor. I like the eyeball tree and your edits of the original picture are a visual delight

Good morning, I am glad you dragged Bob off to the eye doctor. It is not good to play around with your vision. Sorry about Bob's exam results. I hope he has the cataract removed soon. The eyeball tree is cool. Prayers for Bob!

Good news all around since it can be fixed! Poor Bob! He doesn’t stand a chance to suffer long with you so determined to make sure he doesn’t! You take such good care of him! I do the same thing with Louis Dean. He goes for his final appointment with the dentist today. There was a time when he would have flatly refused to have that dental work done.
I will remember to pray for Bob on November First.....and you, too!

I always enjoy your puns and these photos are wonderful! I'm so sorry to hear about Bob's vision problems. I was at the eye doctor on Friday and thankfully no change since two years ago. I hope everything goes well with his surgery.

Wait...the below article? I don't see any article below your post. Poor Bob! He must feel so bad. But it LOOKS like he is now ready for the cataract surgery. That is a good thing. Did he not know the other eye was this bad? Wow, the eyeball tree in the office is very cool! Lots of eyeballs here now, even gummy eyeballs. The girls will get an EYEFULL.

Sandra, you have a way of making a serious situation into an amusing post, not that Bob's vision issues are anything to laugh at. So glad you convinced/dragged him to the optometrist and also that the surgeon responded so fast. Hopefully you won't have to drag Bob to that appointment.

What a great idea, those spooky eyeballs in a doctor's office!
Like the others have said, I'm so glad you put your foot down and took Bob for an evaluation! Sounds like Lady Luck is smiling your direction ... at last!
I hope Bob will be much happier after the fact ... better to see you with. (*smile*)

Could you hear the eye rolls? Praying all goes well for Bob and the cataract surgery. Didn't you have yours done awhile back?

I've lived with a 'one eyed (well not Jack)' for 44 years yet he spies more things while driving than anybody I know (read between the lines).
Glad Bob's is treatable.

The eyes have it!
Sorry about Bob's eye but I'm glad that you have an appointment. I just gave in the progressive lens glasses. I have never worn glasses in my life except for the reading glasses I've been using. I don't think I would like contacts at this point and time. So far there is no signs of cataracts yet but Mark has one starting. Good luck with the appointment.
