NOPE! not my rings that you saw yesterday. These are my husbands wedding rings.
One is Sterling the other 14 K Gold.
The reason he has a silver (cost 20.00) and a gold (500.00 in 1988), is he lost the gold one, and it was lost for 3 years. I replaced it with silver because of the cost and because he has lost not one but THREE gold necklaces. I bought a cheap one and he has not lost it or the cheap silver ring. The gold one flipped up out of the dirt beside the driveway when the weed wacker string FOUND it 3 years after he lost it.One is Sterling the other 14 K Gold.
Below is simply PROOF there are FOUR rings. that this is not Fiction
I almost decided to skip this because the wrinkles show even more.
I consider this photo a learning experience. I learned that hand selfies look just as bad as face selfies.

HA! I guessed which ring each one was in the last picture! And I was right! I do not see a single mark from the weed wacker. I guess because it is real gold. Your nails are beautiful! I love in the first picture how the rings on the mirror make four from two. I like both colors. But I think I like the gold better, because it is more unusual to see in this design than silver.

Well, now the question is, which will hubby wear from now on??? &*> It is true, that Celtic knot design is rarely seen in gold. What fortune that it returned to you. YAM xx
That's the way it always goes, the expensive ones end up getting lost. Maybe that's why I always go for the cheap things :) So is Bob wearing the gold one now or the silver
Hi Sandra, I also ask the question: which one is Bob wearing now. Your hand selfies makes your fingers look beautifully elegant. I loved this post - why - because I love bling and rings and things! Thanks for sharing. Jo
I love the beautiful design of the rings.
MS all are gorgeous and I love that they are different not just bands.
You and Bob were ahead of your time when you got married. Nowadays I see different style bands but when we married in 1970 all were simple bands.
I really like Picker and Ben. I agree the evening one is a tad silly I stopped dvring it.
Hugs C
It was great that you found a silver that matched the gold so closely! Great job. When I married at 20 I was into gold...now I never wear it. I cashed in all my gold a couple of years ago for cash. With the gray and the color of my skin...silver just has to be the metal of choice....
That's amazing about the weed whacker discovering Bob's long-lost ring! We're pretty sure Tom's ring fell victim to the pool filter ... but we've not talked about replacing it. (Hmmmm...)
I may be in the (general population) minority, but I'd much rather own jewelry like y'alls vs. gemstones and bling.
I read your previous post too and saw the amazing weight loss. I know you did it the right way and I really admire your determination. I have to put your suggestions on my fridge in order to do them. About the rings, I took mine off and found I don't miss them. And I love old hands. To be honest, I think I loved them more when I was young and they belonged to someone else. Have a good weekend.
I think your rings are all beautiful. My rings are beginning to be a little big but I think part of that is due to colder weather. In summer, the humidity makes me puff up like a balloon.
And I can relate to the wrinkles. I've noticed a big change just the last few months. Maybe losing a few pounds makes more wrinkles? I dunno. Anyway, I'm getting olden so it's bound to happen sooner or later. (but I don't have to like it. lol!)
I'll bet it was quite a nice surprise when the weed whacker uncovered Bob's missing ring! BG wears a cheap ring since he somehow bent his wedding ring out of shape...forgot now how it happened.
How amazing that the ring was recovered via hard work...weed wacker...
I love the ring style so much.
the picture of the hands made me laugh because yesterday as Dave and I were in the car I was talking about my hands and the wrinkles that have developed. Now my hands look really old to me and remind me of my Mom's hands.
Loosing so much weight has given me too many wrinkles and folds where I wish there weren't any.
But, at least I am above ground...
Hello, I am glad the gold ring was found. Even if it took 3 years to find.
They are all pretty rings, Hubby and I both have a plain gold bands. Happy Saturday!
I love your rings! I have three sets.....the first from 1963 and a nicer set 25 years later. They are both in the safe. I’ve thought about having them made into a necklace pendant or something. Louis Dean picked out the rings all by himself before he proposed to me in 2005. Traditional and beautiful in my humble opinion.
That's amazing, that the gold ring would show up years later.I like the look of these rings.
Amazing that you found that lost ring after three years!
All four of the rings are beautiful. That is amazing that the weed whacker after all those years found the ring. I bet you were happy to see it. Hugs
The story of the lost and then found wedding ring was interesting, Sandra. Pat also lost his gold wedding band a few years after we married. He suspects it was lost somewhere in the NJ home where we were living. It upset him so much that he went and ordered the same gold band with the same inscription inside. And he has neither removed it (or lost it). Now Bob can have a ring for each hand and so can you!
How wonderful that he found the gold one...I love the rings...whether gold or silver.
