Above is a screen shot of my desktop. I like bright colors and lots of sunshine on mine, I have a different one on each device and I change it a lot. As in any time I find a photo I love. I use my photos most of the time, but occasionally will borrow a favorite from the web.
1. Do you have a photo on your monitor screen?
2. If so what is it?
3. Do you change it? How often?
4. Do you use your own photos or wallpaper from the net?
INFO only. If you are clicking Publish several times to get your comments to publish, it is caused by the bloggers using embedded comments. Easy to change to pop up if you want to help your commenters speed up there comment time.

I had told folks about the popout yesterday, only to discover that the issue has been resolved with the embedded comments. Still, am keeping mine on the popout for another week to be certain! I like the reply function in embedded comments, so will be returning to that.
As to wallpapers; I use only my own images and have six which are on a timer set to change every two hours. No getting bored round here! YAM xx
My tablet and phone both have pictures of Gibbs on them. They've been there for quite a while. I do change out the picture on my desktop usually to match the season. For the past couple years I've been using Debbie Mumm free wallpapers. Over the years I've done lots of different things. I haven't used too many of my own pictures on the desktop though
I have a photos of Lorelei on all of my devices...seldom change and I dont kniw why I dont.
I always prefer a popout comment box...hate having to scroll all the way through all the comments back to the top of a post to see how something was spelled, or sometimes say which photo I liked. I have never understood liking the embedded comments and I am sure there is a reason. I just dont know what it is.
Thanks for the help with publishing comments.
Hello, my desktop has one of my sunrise photos from Flagler beach. My phone has one that was offered, but sometimes I change it. I am still having problems with the embedded comments. I feel like screaming at my computer it is so slow. Hope you have a great day!
1. Yes, different on all devices.
2. My main laptop - still life background with January printed in the middle
iPhone - photo of a snowman print on my wall
2nd laptop - Lucy (this is the one the RG uses)
3. Yes, when the spirit move me
4. both my own and photos by others and wall paper, quotes - whatever suits my fancy at the moment.
I was wondering about that Publish issue. Thanks for the info.
I use my own photos for the screen and rarely change them due to laziness.
Yes, I have a photo I took last year of the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland. I took it from my hotel window as the sun was coming up and the sky was clear. I haven't changed it in over a year because I love looking at it. It is one of my favorite travel photos.
I like your screensaver too. I use a series of rotating screen savers that came with my computer. They are all scenes from Mother Nature.
I saw the video of the mountain lions. OMCs Madi's meow is louder than that chirp.
LOL
Hugs C
Yes I do.
I also change it once a month.
I collect positive phrases and pictures and put it on their so I have to read it every day.
From the net.
Have a good one!
I used to know which kind the embedded is, but forgot. YES, it is taking a long time for most of my comments to go through. Only a few will go right away. and now the Mad Detective has discovered WHY. I had been wondering about it, and thinking it has been so long since blogger has screwed up. Remember when we would always lose the comments, and had to copy them before we hit publish? How did you discover this? Your screen is so pretty, always summer. I usually use a picture in my file. I like to change it a lot, but usually forget. Now I have my friend Karen in Honduras, covered with huge exotic birds. but that's been on forever and it is time to change!
I don't change anything very often...either on my desktop or in my home. lol! Thanks for the info about the embedded comments. I have been having a lot of trouble getting my comments to "take" and also many are just plain slow, so I hope the bloggers heed your advice. I changed mine, although I do like the reply option on the other.
Now if we can figure out why I have to hit publish twice it will be great. I clicked Publish and I checked to be sure it did and found it's still there in the comment box. Happened on above comment and on various other blogs I visit.
I won't changed from embedded comment form Blogger emailed me back last week (the support team) and told me they were in the process of fixing it...the sliw comment publish. I use embedded so I can reply! And then know I've visited my 'guests'. lol...I have a system I also think it's working smoothly today.
For wallpaper on my computers and phone...my pictures & my birds
I can't type...so many typos.
I do have a picture son my desktop.Right now it is one that Apple thinks I should have. I like to display my own photos, not that I see them that often. I usually have a coupe pf pages opens that is what I see.
I do have photos on my computer, chromebook, tablet and phone. They are all mine. Pine Cones, Eiffel Tower and flowers. I don't change them.
Great wallpaper! I also love bright and cheerful. Right now, I have a picture I took in Hawaii on my laptop and a picture of a Panda I took at the San Diego Zoo...I almost always use my own pictures, and try to change them seasonally.
Hopefully I have my comments formatted correctly now, thanks to you and Yamini for the heads up!
I was growing so cross about that sluggish "PUBLISH" button. YAY for your tip!
I used to have differing photos and/or motivational sayings on moving tickers at work. Later, I.T. had us remove them. For some reason I never bothered with this monitor when we brought it home last year; nor my tablet. Boring, aren't I? :)
My phone face bears my favorite photo of Caraleigh by a miniature Christmas tree.
I have a photo of our bedroom on my laptop and our gazebo on the iPad.I have ranch scenes on my phone.
I appreciate the info about the pop up. I wonder if I have that. You would be amazed at the things I don't know about blogging. I'm surprised I can even do it!
