Sole Mates @ Almost Wordless Wed

Because We are

SORRY BLOG FRIENDS... I have spent so much time in the sliding glass door sunshine trying to stay warm that my brains fried...  Did you find ME in the first photo? YES we live in FL, this was last week and week before, the 10 days of 40's to high 60's. the house stayed at 68 without heat but 68 is to cold for bare feet so we wear socks instead of slippers and that sunshine is like a fireplace.

Hello Sandra!:) I wear Americo's socks inside my boots. He used to go shooting, thankfully a sport he no longer does, but he wore very warm green woolly knee length socks, which keep my feet and legs really warm now. Is it really cold there?

Poor Sandra - that you have to wear socks and shoes in January! LOL
Enjoy your Wednesday!

We keep our heat on 72°, I feel warm and sometimes too hot. Hubby wears a sweatshirt to stay warm. I have to keep my feet warm with socks. I like the socks in the warm sunshine! Have a great day!

Socks and woolly slippers and thick sweaters, and blankets on top if I'm watching TV or lying on the bed reading... ;) But then this is not Florida, but Sweden!

I thought about you during that cold snap in FL. Here it is cold at night, about 20. Then it warms up during the day. No snow, no rain, hope this is not the beginning of another drought.

I like your sock puns. - Well I guess for Florida, 68 might be a bit chilly but for us that would be awesome. Can't complain though as it's been fairly warm here with temps in the upper 40's & low 50's. Just rainy.

THERE you are! I feel pretty foolish for not seeing you at first. This reminds me of the old 'Hi & Lois' comic strip where Trixie liked to sit on the floor in her ray of sunshine.

Sandra - you and I both live in the south - guess what are on my feet right now?

Wearing socks indoors is a definite for us here in NH, Sandra, but can understand how when you are not used to those chilly temps. And, I had to take another look around to “find” you.
