Royal Wedding by MadSnapper

Yesterday I attended the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Megan, via ABC on my Big Screen TV that my husband graciously let me have the remote from 5 AM to 12 noon... I took a few
photos of the TV screen and added a tad of Edits by my self, PicMonkey and Lunapic.

I waited and waited for the carriage ride, my favorite part of the wedding, All those horses and this beautiful couple in the carriage.
The Bride, Megan
Two beautiful and to me, very brave women.

Brides Mother

The Royals

Below is the Harry Look when the Bishop kept talking and talking and talking. In my opinion to long for a wedding.
If you missed the wedding, Click HERE for a link to the hour long ceremony... and HERE for amazing photos of wedding and guests

I thought the sermon was the best part - loved his talk!

I have been catching snippets of what I missed by having no TV reception at all! What a magnificent day!

Oh my gosh!! I'm so glad you posted this. I've been out of town this weekend and totally missed the wedding. We had a girls weekend in a cabin in the mountains. I wanted to see it but knew it was going to be impossible. My most favorite princess was and still is Diana and I followed her sons through her life and death. I'm so happy for Harry!! Thank you for this post! We don't have anyway of recording it so I missed it completely.

This is a lovely tribute, Sandra! I did feel for Meghan's mum being all on her own and was so pleased to see Charles speaking with her on the steps afterwards. YAM xx

I, too, loved the preacher's part. He made sure that he preached the Word. Amen! In Harry's look I read: "I wonder how much we said we'd pay this man. Must tell Grandma to cut his share in half! LOL! I loved the sepia shot of the carriage ride. Glad Prince Charles held out his hand to Meghan's mum when they walked to sign the registry. And also spoke to her on the steps. Lovely post, Sandra! xxx

Hello, wonderful highlights from the royal wedding. I think they make a beautiful couple, just like William and Kate. It is sad that Meghan's father could not be there. Enjoy your day!

Wasn't that a spectacular event?!! Elegant and casual at the same time. Those hats!! It has inspired me to do a long-overdue blog post!! Maybe!

Best,
Bonnie

I did not watch the whole thing but what I saw, yes, a tad too long. I am the mind set that these two or any two come to marry, they don't need to be left sitting in chairs waiting for a group of folks, a preacher, or anyone to get long winded and go on and on. Meghan is a beautiful woman and she looks so elegant in her simple but stunning dress. Looks like change s in the wind for the royal family these days.

MS your screen shots and edits are gorgeous!! Bob gets an extra egg and piece of bacon for sharing the big screen. I was totally amazed to seen Prince Philip walking on his own. He just had hip surgery in April I believe.
Yay for Prince Charles escorting Meghan's mom out too.
Hugs Madi and mom

The Bishop spoke too long. Evidently Harry and Meghan heard his sermon on love in Chicago sometime ago. That is why they invited him. According to the newspaper a few minutes into his talk he was ad libbing not what they heard in Chicago which explains their looks of dismay. AND the newspaper said his daughter teaches 4th grade in the Wake Co. Schools (the county we live in).

I missed the Bishop's part, but the looks on Harry and Meghan's faces crack me up! Too, the Queen looks so glum - that scene practically invites a caption contest, don't you think? (Altho' I'm not near witty enough.)
Prince William has always reminded me of Diana, particularly his eyes. Maybe that's why I like him best?

Props to Bob for sharing his big screen!

I agree with others that thought the sermon was a bit too long, but the Gospel was certainly preached and i really loved the Bishop's comfortable delivery.
Some of the prim people needed that.
Wedding was lovely and the couple really look like they are in love.

How nice of Bob to give up the big screen for you to watch the wedding. I must say the queen does not look real happy in that picture.

I loved and watched it as well. The part that seems missing to me - is going to the balcony and the kiss - did that happen at this wedding and I missed it or didn't it happen?

I watched some of the wedding on my tablet, but did NOT get up in the early morning hours, so glad you did Sandra to share these images with all of us. There were some interesting expressions that's for sure, especially when Bishop Curry was speaking.
