No, I am NOT on a diet!





Small changes have made a difference in my eating habits, one is using this oil.
I now use avocado oil most of the time and olive oil also. Until a few months ago, I did not even KNOW there WAS avocado oil.
You may need to rob a bank before you can buy avocado oil, but it is the healthiest of all oils. OR SO THEY say! I will spare you the details, Google search will tell you and tell you.
Oils that congeal and harden are not as healthy as the ones that don't is the gist of it all.
The old wives tale of don't weigh your self but once a week is not true.
I weigh every morning and what I see effects what I choose for that day.
My wisdom is here for oil of you
Because Olive you, and Olive you alone now.
A little humor helps our health so were we go.

If they squeeze olives to get oil, where do they get baby oil????

I love meusli and add lots of nuts and dried fruit to the standard mix. That sets me up for the day! I cook with a good quality olive oil or sunflower oil and try and eat healthily. I love to eat avocados now and again. I haven't considered buying the oil. Hope the weigh in today is a good experience.

I do use olive oil but Wade always used vegetable oil. Even the olive oil is pretty expensive in my opinion. That's the worst part about eating healthy, it's way more expensive than eating junk. It should be the other way around to encourage people to eat better.

We mostly use Olive Oil. Oatmeal is my favorite, I just had some this morning.
Can squeeze the babies for some oil, LOL? Enjoy your day!

I cook mostly with EVOO. I haven't tried avocado. today is grocery day I'll price it. You know I love me a bowl of little O's

I just tried an avocado oil salad dressing...very light! Right now, like C, I use mostly EVOO, when I use oil.

Hate that 4 letter word d-i-e-t, I like to live a healthy lifestyle!

WE use grape seed oil. Its expensive too. We eat healthy but still find it hard to lose weight.We are trying to eat less and see if that helps. At the moment we are both coughing. Looks like we caught a bug in Sydney.

If I love avocados, I should ADORE avocado oil, right? I'm adding it to my Wal-Mart list right now.

That box of Grape Nuts looks SO good! I was on a roll for a while, eating Grape Nuts with almond milk for supper almost every night. Unfortunately, since my Adkins/keto lifestyle and I've separated, the unwelcome inches are coming back. I wish I'd your resolve!

Exactly, eating healthy isn't a diet, it's what's right!! I bought avocado oil to make a salad dressing but haven't done that yet. Do you like the taste?

Thanks for sharing these thoughts. I weigh myself almost every day.I find, too,that it helps me make better choices.Not to say that I always make good choices, and that's why some of those pounds are hard to shed.

Yes the olive oil and avocado oil and even coconut oil are expensive. But I am saving money by not eating out. I like your riddle about baby oil :)

I agree about weighing yourself every day. It will vary a little due to water weight but it lets you see the effects of yesterday's choices.

The type of oil makes SUCH a huge difference in your blood lipid profile. I could not agree with you more about that!!!!

We use olive oil most of the time as well as some grapeseed oil, but have yet to try the avocado oil, so perhaps we will give it a try. I like all the cereals you have on your shelf with oatmeal and cheerios being favorites and grape nuts heated are easier to chew and to me have a better taste.

I've never seen avocado oil here (or noticed!) (making mental note to look for it...) I use olive oil quite a lot nowadays for salads etc, though - and also avocados "as they are" (cut in pieces in salads, or mashed with some herbal salt)
