Thank You Washington State

Living healthy means eating fruits and veggies every day.
Saturday there were no grapes, but thanks to the State of Washington, there were wonderful CHERRIES... If you suffer from gout, cherries and fresh pineapple are the go to fruits to keep it at bay.... PLUS they are healthy and on my Not a diet food list...

I came home from shopping and about mid morning realized I left this phone  in the car. It rides in the middle console, hidden from thieves. It was not in the console, I ranted about who would break in a car, steal the phone and leave the money and other things, then lock the car again.
After frantic searching It occurred to me to use the house phone to call the phone.
I stood in the house listening for it to ring. NADA! Nothing! I opened the garage door and listened. Nada! Nothing!
I ranted again, same rant, different time. Finally I sat in the car and called the phone. I could hear a faint song, but could not find it. I got the flashlight and stood on my head a few times, hearing the song it plays.  OH FOR PETES SAKE I said out loud.   The console has a top part and a bottom part. I did not even remember the bottom is there.. I had picked up the whole thing and dropped it in that pocket and it must be sound proof.... Today My Cell is RINGING like the old time home phones...

That is too funny but very frustrating. I keep putting my phone down and forgetting where I put it. Now the sensible thing for me to do would be to put it in the same place all the time but no, that would be way too easy, lol!

I love those cherries and fresh pineapple too. I think they relieve the pain of arthritis also. Glad you found your phone!

Those cherries look so good. We got some in at the store yesterday and Iw as eyeing them up after they wrapped them to put put out. No idea how much they were though. Probably more than this cheapskate is willing to pay.
I have done that with my phone on more than one occasion. Using another phone to call it is the only way to find it too.

Ps cherries (bing cherries) are a favorite snack here, in the summer.

I have never eaten a fresh cherry.............why.............?
because as a child I stuffed my face with chocolate covered cherries and got sick as 10 dogs. Thus I won't touch cherries. Maybe I should give them a try.
I must admit to chuckling a wee bit over the phone saga

HAHA...I still have a home line for that very reason. I put my phone down and I have to call it to see where I put it. Yep.....silly I know! My phone does not have the old fashion ring set for anyone. My son, daughter, best friend and mom all have their own ring, then there is, "Does Your Mama Know" from Abba, for all other calls! For Christmas I used to have my ring sat to, " All I want for Christmas is a real good tan" by Kenny Chesney! HAHA....but then again I am the same one that used to change out the cover of my phone with scrapbook paper and a clear case for each holiday!

You are so funny Sandra.
A breath of fresh air...love the phone saga.
Where would we be without our devices?
I really love cherries and pineapple but still have to rein in my desires for fruit because of diabetes restrictions. I do a tiny bit of the yumminess every once in a while now that my numbers are down in the normal range. It's a real bummer to maintain.

Love cherries... I bought some earlier this week from a market stall in the square. Don't know where they were from but could hardly be Swedish, not yet. Also bought some from the supermarket the week before, they were from Turkey I think. But delicious! :) I like and often buy pineapple too (from the supermarket), but the last one I bought was over-ripe/brown when I cut it open (impossible to see from the outside).

Whew … what a panic for a moment? My mind always goes right to the worst-case scenario. My car has the same (dual) console, but I don't recall ever having used the bottom secret compartment.

That photo of the cherries is so vibrant … one of my favorite colors!

I'm not going to tell you how many times my husband has had to call my phone so I can find it. Some days I wish for the old fashioned stuck on the wall phones that don't move.

Love it when cherries come. Haha I know how annoying it can be to locate those mobiles. They tend to slip deep down in my bag and I get frantic if I cannot find it. Calling usually helps but sometimes I forget to turn off airplane mode . I use it to lower radiation when I don“t need to make or receive messages.

We all have those moments, Sandra. And the cherries in the supermarkets here have been looking good as well and we have some fresh pineapple in the fridge.
