Lady Lizarad Lollygags

We lost two of our beautiful red hibiscus bushes to some type of disease. It really looks so ugly.
But as I walked my laps on the desk I realized the sun was painting beauty on the ugly bush and ran for the camera.

As the sun moved higher each moment it pointed out  sections of the dead limbs, changing the look of everything it touched. Today is Thankful Thursday and I am thankful for sunshine and trees and lizards PLUS my camera and eyes to see all this.

I spied Lady Lila Lizard Lollygagging on her Limb, ugly and gray but well hidden from prying eyes cameras.

I thought, bad photo, another one to delete, then I had and Aha! moment, when I turned my lens to the limb above her, the sun shining on her knight in shining armor amour 💘😍💋.

The sun shone on Levi, as he sent out loving signals to his lovely lady Lila. I believe Levi is a cousin of Larry, Leonard and  Liam.  I am sure most of you have met them all, in my Prior 28 posts about our brown anoles. (there are most probably many more than 28, I sometimes forget labels)

NOTE: Liam of the missing tail, went missing for 3 whole weeks and I mourned him every time I went and checked the bathing suit he lived on. Suddenly this week he is back... I am so relieved he is alive and well. We only have 87 million of these guys, but I love them ALL. Alas! Soon I will run out of names that start with L...

I may have digressed from the point of this post... That Sunshine can make ANYTHING beautiful. NOT just yellow flowers.

Totally awesome! My very favorite is Sunny Levi, this is one gorgeous photo!!! And the lovely soft green moss on the tree. Lila looks like she is doing push-ups to keep fit for her boyfriend!

Absolutely! You have your many critters and I have mine! We do love our lives, don’t we?

Wow I actually caught a glimpse of your critters. Sorry a bug killed the pretty red plant though.. our trip is over and I shall attempt a post from my iPad this week while at my grandkids in UK for next three weeks.

I love your anole names. I name the critters in my yard too, and miss any of them that don't show up for a day or more. Sorry that your pretty flower bushes didn't survive.

I always enjoy seeing your lizard posts. Glad to hear that Liam has returned. When I see critters regularly in the yard and then suddenly they are no longer showing up, I always wonder what happened to them.

Good morning, I am so happy to hear Liam is still around. Lila and Levi and cuties. Sorry about loosing the hibiscus plant. We lost a red maple this week.
I love the lizards. Have a great day!

Lila's camo is quite effective.

We get the biggest kick out of ours too but have the bad habit of calling them all 'Liz'! hehehe! We have one that spends the day on the glass looking in at us! We laugh every time we see him. We laugh a lot! Hugs!

I like Lady Lila precisely because she is so well camouflaged... Takes a keen eye to spot her! :)

Always painful to lose a favorite plant or lizard. I especially enjoyed your beautiful brown eye Susan's....:)

So glad he came back, I wonder where he went. Thanks for pointing out that the sun can add to our pictures. I get so tired of her constant shining on everything. I will work on it.

I messed up my new googlemail. Maybe you can help. Without checking it out first, I had 50 new emails I wanted to delete. So clicked on the first one, then held the mouse down while I scrolled down the page. The way I have always done it. It took but a second and before I could stop, the fonts got super tiny. I tried to reverse it, but it will not work. I am so fed up! Do you know another way to fix it?

Yes, the sunshine adds beauty to most everything.

Your Susans were beautiful, but The L family's won my heart!
So happy Liam decided to come back ("get back, Jo-Jo!") where he belongs. I love how you discover beauty in some of the most unlikely places!

PS - Perhaps another named Lynyrd, in memorial to Ed King?

We can find beauty in all things, if only we have the eyes to see, or something like that. You definitely see nature’s beauty and how lucky we are. Fabulous photos! I especially love the last one.
