I love the color of that hibiscus. They are as pretty from the bottom side as they are from the top.
I don't think I've ever seen a tree with thorns like that. I sure wouldn't want to lean up against that one.
I don't know that I've ever seen a thorn tree....how scary! Oh and you have a bad comment above this one that needs deleted before someone accidentally clicks on a link and loses everything on their computer! EEEEE!!!
I have never ever seen a thorn tree like that - it sure has great protection! Love the color of that Orange Hibiscus too, Have a good weekend.
Who? Who? Who, but the Mad Snapper would think to capture these back sides? Gives a whole new meaning to "Bottoms Up!"
I used to be manic for that orange/peachy color and longed to do my bathroom theme in those hues; not sure what happened.
PS - The tree at your vet's office? I hope all is well!
What a beautiful color!!! OMCs that is one funky looking thorny tree.
Yikes at the vet's parking lot? Wonder how many critters have had an encounter when on a peemail break
Hugs C
Beautiful hibiscus... and "ouch" for those thorns!
I'm not sure which I like better... your photos or what you said about them. :)
That tree looks kinda dangerous. I wouldn't want one of its thorns in MY side.
Hmmm, that thorn tree at the Vet's office...seems not too friendly for all the visitors though.
I do love the peach color of the hibiscus a lot.
Only thing blooming in our yard is the crepe myrtle tree...its mostly done though.
Because of the wind patterns the skies are still murky from the remaining fires around us. At least it's not so hot this week. In fact, we had to turn off the overhead fan in our bedroom. By morning we were getting chilly. At least the electric bill won't be quite as high.
Have a good weekend.
I have never seen a tree like this before!! Is it's real name actually thorn tree? It is just amazing to me, almost doesn't look real. It looks like someone just stuck the thorns on! The hibiscus are so beautiful from any angle. They are the fluffy, multi-petaled kind that do not usually grow wild. So someone must have planted them there. They are gorgeous! But today, my vote goes to the tree. Because it is something I have never seen before, like something out of Harry Potter or a fairy tale. Something I will not forget.
Yes,those flowers look as good from the back as from the front.I wouldn't want to back into that tree.
What a beautiful orange hibiscus! You take the greatest photos. I saw the thorn tree on our travels once but I can’t remember where. Extraordinary tree!
I looooove your orange hibiscus!!
I've never seen a thorn tree either...very interesting!!
The hibiscus does have a pretty backside.Wish I did.
Those are thorns??? I thought that tree had a serious case of acne. The hibiscus color is just gorgeous! I'm so glad God created flowers!
What a beautiful Hibiscus and such a pretty color. Yowser that tree looks "mean."
Beautiful hibiscus...love the color. My first time ever to hear of or see a thorn tree...wow bet that would do some hurt if one leaned against it. Hugs
The hibiscus look lovely. I think think I've seen a tree with thorns like that before!
