Walk A Mile- Maple Tree

I heard the maple syrup company maple their brand off the market soon..
You maple my hair over these puns...

This is the only little Maple tree in the neighborhood, and it is right next door to us and we can see it from our back yard...  The tree on the right over the roof is our oak in our front yard. The leaves fall off this tree right after Thanksgiving. The rest of the trees are green year round

Joining Nature Friday with LLB in our backyard.

The leaf is gorgeous! The back of it looks like dark blue velvet! We live on Maple avenue, so there are a lot of Maples. Each street in the neighborhood is named for a tree. Locust, Poplar, Magnolia (where our doctor is), etc.

I'm slow this morning. I didn't get the maple pun at first.
So the leaves that do fall off, do they change pretty fall colors or just turn brown and fall off?

Aside from the magnolia, my favorite trees are maple and oak. Mother Nature's gifts, free for nothing! Thank you for sharing them with us today!

I always enjoy seeing Florida trees. While I have seen maples and oaks, of course, there are so many that are new to me.

That's a handsome tree. It must have been growing in your neighbourhood for many years. I would find it difficult to live in an area where trees do not have the conditions to grow and thrive. I'm thankful for trees.
