Christmas Day Walkabout

Walking on Christmas day was fantastic,  a day fit for paradise, Brilliant sun, blue skies, temp was 73, no humidty.. no wind, just me and the peace and quiet.

A tree in the neighborhood had many crystal lighted balls, they were sparkling in the sun, but I was using my cell, not a zoom lens.

The plan for the last 34 years has been, if I die first, Bob will buy a Harley, after selling the house and moving in a houseboat.

Wow, it looks like Christmas in the middle of summer. And the white ball looks like some strange giant albino berry hanging from a tree. Love your million points of light.

The snowman behind the Minion is hilarious, considering the weather.

...I once dreamed of riding off into the wilds on a Harley Sportster. Now it would need to be a trike with towing capability... YAM xx

I really like those lighted balls.
That sounds like a plan Wade would have come up with. His was when he won the lottery. Mostly he said he was moving to Australia.

Hello, I like the lights, they are pretty. I have never been crazy over the Minion. The Harley shadow is cool. Enjoy your day!

Louis Dean plans to go to Arkansas! I doubt he’d do it, though. But maybe he would! Amber is his legal daughter and I’m sure she would have something to say about it! If he goes before me, I’m staying right here.....what time I’m not at the ranch!

What's that? Bob's reverse bucket list? Like Cecilia asked, "What's yours?"
Mother Nature sure gifted you with a perfect Christmas Day! Come to think of it, we also had a nice sunny day. Unfortunately, heavy rains arrived yesterday and it's become mighty ugly out there.

Cute decorations. I love Bob's plan, does he still want to do that?

Like everyone else...what's your plan?
Love the delightful and silly things you see on your walks. It's gorgeous today but cold. 38F. At least the wind has stopped.
My camillias are blooming like mad and the trees are bare.
I've finally mostly recooped from our 15 Christmas Eve services and all the prepping and serving. This old body doesn't do it quite as well as it used to.

Now I have a vision of Bob pulling a wheelie and shooting up the ramp onto his houseboat. Just hope he stops before going over the other side.

You two are such characters. (and I would stay on his good side if I were you.)

Looks quite different than a walk in my neighbourhood would have looked. It is pretty.

The little candle inside is actually a battery candle! I knew you would love it!
