Walk a Mile & The Grinch

I will be taking Friday and Saturday off, due to visiting son.
Each day I smile when I walk past the grinch hanging on the fence . The snow man is in his front yard under the big Banyon Tree.
Christmas, Florida Style, did you find the grapefruit in the first photo?

Yes, I DID see the grapefruit! But I thought it was a Christmas tree ornament. Wondered why it was the only one...I was so surprised to read that he is a REAL Grinch! I thought he was one of your editing creations!!! I hope you have a wonderful visit!

I had to go back and find the grapefruit but once you mentioned it, it stuck right out. Lucky for that snowman that he can't melt like his northern relatives.

Great decorations! Not done here in the Bonny Land - at least rarely - weather tends to work against it!!! YAM xx

Ha! Mr. Grinch looks like he's going to snatch that grapefruit right off the tree. I miss my former co-worker who'd always dress in a Grinch costume during the holidays. Poor man; it wasn't really a stretch.

I'm going to miss you, girl … thanks for warning us you'll be OK; just off the grid temporarily.

Yes, this definitely looks very different that Christmas in Manitoba. I spent one Christmas down in Texas on a family vacation, but it just didn't feel right to be looking for a shady spot on Christmas Day.

Grinch seems to be pretty famous this year. Maybe due to the movie?
