Shadow Shot Sunday

After my walk, I stepped in the back yard and YOWSA! LOOK at those Shadows... the ferns are 4 foot tall.

I am very frond of you my fronds! Please don't leaf me alone!

Look what else I found..... She is sitting on a Rake, sunbathing... ahhhhhhhhhhhh

The shadows are huge and looming. They remind me of the ones on that old Disney movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". It is like you put your little buddy on that pretty red handle and had him pose, it is so perfect. Our county has just been declared a disaster, maybe more that 14' of snow. Phil cancelled church. We are fine as long as we have POWER!

That copper stripe down his spine! Is really like that, or is it a reflection of the sun? And the copper has black stripes in it. He is fancier than the others.

A sunbather...in its birthday suit. Ferns have to be a favorite for me. They give a tropical ambiance

Ps...I'd love to go walking with you to your close-by wildlife reserves. (And, thanks for viewing my bird photos)

Awww...love sweet Lizzie. It's a perfect capture
The colors are brilliant and she is so coppery.
Life has been crazy here and photo taking has taken a back seat...except for our oven...
Maybe today I will get the camera rolling again.

Those fronds look like something out of a Disneyworld Adventure ride! Lovin' your 'new kid' … so cute on that red rake. I hope he/she will enjoy living with the Hangey family!

The rake sitter looks like she is ready to pounce!
