I saw a Car

I saw a new Camaro driving on the street. This is my husbands favorite car right now. He wants one. I said to him "I would never ride in that, look at the windows, if it was in a crash, or went in the water, I could not get out those windows."

He said "open the doors" I said in a CRASH or under water They will NOT OPEN"

He suggested a convertible   HA! If that rolled over, guess who would be crushed or thrown out into traffic.

Just so you know! If I die in one of these cars, it was murder and I was forced at gun point into it.

Back In The Day, I had a 68 Camaro!  IT had FAT windows.  I have one of those thingys you can break out windows in the side pocket of the door to the Kia.  (emergency escape tool is the name)

Also, If I jump off a HIGH bridge OR am found dead in a CAVE, Know that it was murder because I will not be found on either one.  OR in a living space that doesn't have at least TWO exits!

You’d hate the van that we are living in right now! Well, I just realized that it had 4 doors. Maybe it would be okay?!?

It's a nice looking car. The windows do look pretty small. I have never been in a convertible with the top up or down.

What ever happened to the Trans Am (pontiac bit the dust long ago). Now if it were sports cars (or muscle cars) I guess I'd settle for a Camaro too.

Black tho, not red.

Hello,

It is a pretty car. I used to own a 77 camero. They are low to the ground, I would feel like I have to crawl out of the car.

Proof positive you and I might be sistas....LOL
I would not get a wink of sleep in a camper for many reasons...too small mainly. I need a little private space just for me too.

I can't see me getting in or out of that car very easily even if it wasn't in water, lol

Hey, I totally '[get' this. Be prepared, at all costs. You're much like my son. Wherever he goes he's sure to check out the location of all the exits, never sits with his back to the door, etc. Drives his wife crazy, but I wish I were as aware.

My house has two exits, but my bedroom windows are too high up for a fast escape. Bet you wouldn't like that either. I don't when I think about it, but then I don't think about it very often.

My want-to-have-it car would have been the Mustang a few years back. My ex-husband had an older Pontiac Firebird and it so uncomfortable then. Not sure whether or not this model is still in production now. I've seen some of the current Camaros and they are not for me for many of the reasons you stated, Sandra. And, yes we have those emergency window breakers in both our cars. Grenville is a preparedness guru.

I was in some caves years ago and ended up being taken by ambulance to the hospital in shock so I am with you on that one. My son had a 2018 Camaro the doors were so big and heavy I could hardly close them. The seats were so low I could see very little out of the windows and just trees and sky mostly through the windshield. I have to say it was one of the most uncomfortable cars I have ever been in. NOT for me. I had a 1969 Pontiac Firebird...loved it and it was comfortable. That was my one and only sports car. Hugs

Those are some small windows on that car! I totally understand where you are coming from and yes two exists are a must.
