While emailing with Ann of SnapEditScrap, she said her Wal-Mart is about 20 miles away. I said we have 5 Wal-Marts with in 8 miles. Then I checked and found we have EIGHT Wal-Marts with in 22 miles of our front door. Isn't this crazy?
Do you think I can find all the exits in all these stores?
Here is my plan.... I will check out Home Depot, YMCA, Culvers, Salems, Hungry Howie's and the church where my TOPS meeting is. Make a map of exits and start a Book Of Exits.... I am doing these first because it is where I GO. Then I will start with the BUSY places and Voila! a Best Seller of
Exits You May Need to Know before you go...will be on the front cover...
Can you come up with a better name? I am calling it Know Your Exits! Help me out please with the name.

Seriously, this is a good idea. There is a website about where the cleanest public bathrooms are, so why not! I have no idea about a title, my mind is blank.

Actually, this really is quite a good idea... How about "The Ways Out"? ... or "Exit Left (and right and back)"?... YAM xx
Are you researching the exits because of gun crimes? We do not have mass shootings over her YET! and hope we never do but I would definitely want to know the exits if we did.

Hello,
It is a great idea, to know where the exits are. We are going to Walmart today, I get some extra steps in looking for those exits. Have a happy day and a great new week!
That's a pretty good idea. For a title how about "Get me the heck out of here"
Are the exits you found open all the time? Our small walmart only has one main entrance. Then there are two doors for the outdoor stuff, but they are only open during the gardening time. Like now that it is almost over, they are never open. I guess a person could always run back to the stock room.
LOL LOL
Mad Snapper aka Queen of Exits!!
We have 4 grocery stores within 5 min of the house...just one Walmart close by it is about 2 miles

The Book of EXIT-DUS (LIKE exodus-which means getting the heck out of there/here).
Now-a-days this could be a best seller (too bad it will be for personal use for patrons, locally.) I try to not obsess with it all & go on living.
Sandra, I read this post to Grenville this morning and he had a couple of suggestions...This Way Out, was his first pick. Also I recall that PT Barnum was said to have put up a sign reading This Way to the Egress (exit) as a way to get folks to leave because they thought it was another exotic animal.
I read above where someone said most exits are locked & alarms go off. So I had to google & read this about panic codes -

Seriously, this is BRILLIANT! In fact, would you consider sharing this with the folks at WM Corporate. I'll bet they would underwrite the cost of self-publishing, for prominent placement of their logo. Oh my; my mind is spinning with possibilities.
This is a grand idea MS!!! I actually like the name you came up with!
Have fun checking out all the exists.
Remember that old song "Last Exit To Ruin"? It was maybe in the 50's
Actually, this is a wonderful idea. With the way things are today...it would be good to know where exits are in the stores we frequent!
By Golly...you have a Best Seller in the works!!!
Know your exits is a great name...says the purpose in one short sentence.
That sounds good....or 'easy exits'! We have a Walmart just a couple of miles away. They are everywhere here in FL! Hugs!
Oh my gosh - you go girl and let us know. lol sandie
Better hop to it. Once our generation sees a need for something, it appears on the market. I was inspired by your earlier post about your checking the exits and determined to do the same. Alas, Hubby does the shopping and I haven't been since that post. Walmart is an air-conditioned place I can get some walking in so maybe I will get back there by the time your book of maps is published!
Good for you being all prepared!
