A Gift For You

Lie down in bed, and listen carefully.. Can you hear what I heard?  Bob is in the bathroom, NOT taking a bath, I might say. I am in bed for the night!  The words above are flowing out and into the bedroom. (Bob knows the words to 87 million songs. I said, THAT is where I got the ear wurm! Why are you singing that? He said I DON"T KNOW!

We had both been humming the tune and whistling it for a few days, moving it back and forth to each other. He sang me the whole song.

I woke up the next Moring with the HORNS that are in the song right where you see the note below.
Look above and the dada da da is the horns going up and down.

We sing together, and I do the HORNS  and I say all I can see is Julia Roberts riding on her horse and Mel Gibson riding in the car, the horns are playing the da da da dada when she finds the pin he left on her saddle. (Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and Conspiracy Theory, these are two of our most watched movies)

That is the closing scene to one of our all time favorite movies. Conspiracy Theory! The movie opens with Valli and the 4 seasons singing the song and ends with it also... it has been 2 weeks and we are both breaking out in song.,

There is an ad running on TV that sings it! I can't find it for you, but here is the song to give you my gift to you. A Christmas Gift Wurm for your head.  Click here to find those horns and good luck!

and the whole song to sing if you like.

I sure did know the song, but never noticed the horns in it till now!!! So cool!!! I have never seen this movie, maybe I should. What about Conspiracy Theory 1? Each one of us will start singing a particular song from time to time, and we don't know why.

Oh my goodness, here I'm about ready to go to bed and now you have put that song in my head haha. Not that it's a bad song but I need to sleep not recite a song in my head. When we watched Bohemian Rhapsody, for weeks after the movie both the husband and I were singing Queen songs. It seemed everyday I'd wake up with one in my head and so would the husband. I don't think I've ever seen Conspiracy Theory 2 Hmm we should look it up but then I would have to rewatch the first one since it's been ages since I last saw it.
Have a great weekend!!

omg I'm glad we aren't the only mad people who sing together like that. I often put in the boop de boop bits in between and we usually end up laughing.

I get songs stuck in my head and they stay for days and days. Now I can move on to this one.The worst part is when you only know a line or two from a song but it's still stuck there so the whole song doesn't play in my head just that one line or two.

Hello,

The song is an oldie but goodie! It is so nice that Bob sings to you!
My hubby can not carry a tune, lol. Never heard of the movie.

Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.

And danged if the RG doesn't know the name of every group that sings the songs too; even the obscure ones. (Bob probably does too.)

I have enough tunes in my head...don't give me any more!!! Have not seen Conspiracy Theory, but have Pretty Woman. Usually watch any time I come across it if Roger is not here. Not his favorite movie.

Bravo MS what a great post and I love that Bob serenades you at night. LOL
Hopefully he hasn't started singing in his sleep.

I love me some 4 Seasons...

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou ….! That's one of my all-time FAVORITE songs!
I don't remember that being in Pretty Woman and haven't ever seen the Conspiracy Theory. BUT! Christopher Walken singing that in The Deer Hunter still brings tears to my eyes. (Not the song, but the movie -- which has almost NOTHING to do with deer hunting and everything to do with friendship and 3 best friends from Pennsylvania's steel mills going off to fight in VietNam.)

Love this and that you 2 are a singing duo.
I'm not familiar with the Conspiracy Theory either. Guess I have lived under a rock.
I do love the song though and now it will be stuck in my head all day.
Thanks a lot!!!
Dave and I are duet singers too. We belonged to several singing groups years ago but haven't done much of that lately.
The most scary singing together was a duet in church in front of 300 people. One time was enough..we did fine but ....Groups were the best for us.
Dave has a fantastic Bass voice and me, a so so Alto.
Our favorite song to sing in the car going some place was the Hawaiian Wedding Song...I know, crazy...

Well, sweet Sandra I think it is great that you and your sweet Bob sing together. I know the song so won't listen to it...don't want to end up singing to Chancy all day. lol Hugs

I think our Kmarts have been gone a while...the one I always preferred to shop at has been gone for years and years, but the other one closed down in the not to terrible distant place.

We have no Sears either. Our mall only has Penneys left in as far as a dept store. I cannot imagine who buys their clothes on line...I tried some shirts about a year ago, and they were the wrong size....I got them on sale and after paying shipping back....would have about cost what I paid for them. But they were nice cotton knit...I so wish they had fit.
