Dog Proof Tree

New plaid fleece throw. Wal-Mart $5.00... not for Big, this one is mine.

My tiny 15 year old tree is dog proof decorated with unbreakable decorations bought at the Dollar Tree. All the ornaments cost a total of $3.00. It sits by the window.

It was necessary when we had 3 dogs, Big Dogs....
So Far Big has not knocked it over and has not even noticed it.

The lamp that sits there has been downed several times by Big Boy. Anything in front of a window is fair game.
Climbing Santa is a candle climber I have had for 35 years.
Now he climbs the Charlie Brown tree.

This is probably the prettiest tiny tree I have ever seen. And the amount of light it puts out is amazing! Did you add the lights? All of it is just perfect. And the ornaments don't LOOK unbreakable, they look like shiny glass. If this was all newer, I would run to the store and get the exact same things to make it myself. None of the many small trees I get seem to look that good. And I am not putting our big one up as long as we have cats. I remember climbing Santa and C.B. tree, but not this beautiful little one.

Your tiny tree is pretty. In all the years I've had pets there was only one car I had trouble with and only once that a tree was ever knocked over.
I almost bought myself a blanket just like yours when I was at Walmart on Saturday. I love buffalo plaid. The ones I saw were more than $5 though otherwise I would have snagged it up.

We gave up with trees years ago but I do like that little climbing santa, a few of those might stand a chance of surviving the claws. lol

I also like soft, fluffy blankets...

That first scene is so beautiful...and love the climbing Santa. We never had trouble with dog, but when these kitties were young I bought all unbreakable for down low for a year, maybe two. Sometimes Bubbie still gets ideas.lol

Your wee tree's pulling at my heartstrings! And Climbing Santa's got a-hold of the other side. It's a wishbone kind of feeling. :)

I do like his tree - funny he doesn't even notice it. Sandra - you are not going to believe this but I bought the same exact blanket - same color and all! great minds thing a like.

We are still decorating a larger tree, but when it is tiny tree time, I have a wonderful example to follow in your miniature lovely. Love the Santa!

I really like your memory trees. that climbing Santa is really wonderful.
I bought a red tablecloth just like your throw..Hopefully I will get a shot of it when all the decoration debris (as Linda Chapman would say) is gone.. (:0)
Finished my tree last night...I cut way back on the ornaments and less do-dads around too.
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
