I Tried!

Hi, this is a message to all of you who can draw! I CAN"T... I saw this thing on FB that said use this to teach your kids how to draw...  OH WELL!  As I spent an hour at the kitchen table, with Samsung Tablet giving instructions,  Bob just shook his head.

You might recognize the lady bug that was on prior post in the lunapic wall shot.

It is my belief that EVERYTHING looks better in Sunshine... I liked the frog and lady bug best.

to my e-friends Ella, Annie, Ann and Linda, eat your hearts out. I tried!

I am serious when I say that this is real good compared to what I can draw. Yours looks a lot better than mine does. I am impressed! For someone who can't draw, you can kinda draw!

Good try Sandra. I envy in a nice way people who can take a pencil and paper and just draw anything. I can copy but not produce anything out of my head. I'll stick to sewing, lol

Sandra, I like 'em. Very much. Seriously.

Me thinks you are way too hard on yourself. These are much better than you are giving yourself credit for. I like all of them even the ones you have a ? next to.

Hello,

I think you did good. I like the cute lady bug and the advice from a Ladybug. Don't let the little things "bug" you!

I thought you did good, too, and it kept your mind occupied.

At least you tried … which is more than I could say about myself, since having flunked art in 4th grade.
Hey, what's with giving that sweet baby chick an F-? I thought it was cute. Gonna guess the sketch (above chickadee) is your whistle?

I would recognize that as a ladybug anywhere. More drawings, please.

No worries MS I cannot draw a straight line with a ruler.
Love the ladybug and her advice

You did good Sandra. Love the photo of the ladybug and the frog with the light and shade from the blinds. I call a ladybug a ladybird - isn't that strange? I wonder what that creature would look like if you drew it?!

Excellent! You have more talent than you give yourself credit for! I can’t draw worth a stick but I can paint! I transfer my photos to pencil sketches using Ribbet.

Good for you! I have been thinking of doing some drawing myself as I came across colored pencils I had bought ages ago. Now I have to find the paper :) I do think these are very nice. You did great!

Well, there is certainly nothing wrong with your art works. Good for you to try them anyway. I do really like the sun and shadows on your lady bug and frog.
Perfect advice from the Ladybug too.
Its going to be a good day...

I think you did good - better than I could. Good idea to use the mind.

You did well. I’m glad I have a camera, because my drawings would be unidentifiable .

Most people have some art in talent flowing though there blood. But only few have that special wow talent that there work sells for a big price tag. I am not a wow artist.

Sandra, I can't draw either but the more important thing is that you had a fun time doing the art and isn't that what matters?

The drawings are fun. Really fun.
