everyday is a school day#1

have you noticed that blogger has a new look? Is it driving you crazy? the reason that they have changed it is because so many people are using their phones and their tablets and a lot of the people don't have a PC a laptop or a desktop anymore.

I am using my three pictures  that looks so much  alike  so that I can show you that I created this post in my tablet, by speaking to the tablet. Added Photos  from Google Photos storage.

NEW Blogger is HERE and  This is a challenge! I will conquer it!
I am going to create this post and leave it like it is and see what it looks like so if you come to the post today and it looks wonky just enjoy the pictures of this beautiful Magnolia and know that I will figure this new thing out and we'll do a tutorial or give you some information as I figure it out. If you're using it and want to add in the comments anything you may have learned that you had a hard time finding give us a shout in the comments
Please let me know if the slideshow works when you click on the photos.
Waiting to see what I DID.... some of you have IPADS and this will work on those also.
I created a post with my PHONE..  can't wait to see how it works out.
Coming Soon!

WP has a new editor too.... we hate it... it is like a windows update, within one second you have 87 question marks in your mind LOL

Actually, you could still create posts from phones and tablets, even with 'legacy' Blogger...I did that for two months last year when Down Under... but yes, they've opted to go to the standard and anodyne look of the 'one-touch' effect. HOWEVER, the operation is exactly the same. It is no different than changing the wallpaper of your personal blog and moving some of your widgets into a different alignment. The operation is exactly the same as it was before, just the look is different.

With one exception. I switched to the updated version back in January and ran with it until April - then switched back to the legacy version because there is one operation that HAS changed significantly - and that is the selection of items in the Comments tab of the dashboard. No longer can multi-select. So if bombarded with over a 100 spams as I was at Easter, meant one at time deletion. No way. So I returned to legacy where you can 'select all' and dump them in one go.

However, the rollout will eventually reach here and everywhere and we will all have to accept it, regardless. The blurb does say it is possible to return to the legacy version but is not 100% clear whether that option will remain past the July deadline...

And you did fine - this post looks as all your posts do - fun and engaging! YAM xx

I have not noticed that blogger has a new look! Nothing has changed for me ... for now! Your slideshow works perfectly and your edited flower is very beautiful
Have a great month of June! Hugs!

I haven't made the switch yet but suppose I should before I'm forced into the change.

Hello,

I have not clicked on the new blogger yet. I don't want it, lol.
I love your flowers and the edited photo is beautiful. Have a happy day!

Yes, I know Blogger is changing and not for the better according to some. I never compost or read posts on my phone or tablet as it is much harder since some are longish. That said, I will look forward to your “school” Sandra. I also did not see a slideshow here.

Slideshow worked. I clicked the Try new Blogger button last week and didn't notice too much then came back to the norm since that's what I'm used to for the moment. I will have to check it out in more depth.

I think the magnolia is my favorite of all Mother Nature's kids. Two years ago, when we crossed the state line into Mississippi and pulled into the visitors center there were magnolia trees everywhere in full bloom - I felt like I'd been dropped into fairy land.

Ugh, on the new blogger. My head's hurting already. No, I've not noticed anything different; no slideshow either. May I reserve a front-row seat for your class?

You have me worried. I haven't seen a change yet and I do no like change!!

Boy I am confused. I don't see any difference in your blog. I did change over a couple weeks ago and the only thing I noticed was that my blogs were not in exact order. What else is happening?

I don't see a slideshow either. Your photos are really pretty though. I'm staying with the old blogger as long as I can. You helped me get back here and that's where I'm happiest.
I only work on my laptop. Don't even own an ipad.
It seems I'm not so good at change..moan and groan...

The post looks good to me. I have not noticed a lot of changes in Blogger, and the ones that are there, are easy enough to work with. Hope it stays that way.

Looks great to me. I love your blooming tree. I had forgotten all about the change over. Going to investigate my page now. Slideshow moving to the next picture without touching it? I didn't see that but only the thumbnails.
