Fence On Nature Friday

The damage done to our back yard fence was done by racoons... the fence is 30 years old, just their fat body's climbing over it did the damage.
In Florida you can't keep nature out, it grows year round.
I took a few cell phone pics, created the 2 collage in the phone and popped them in
here from the phone.
Am I getting better????
The Problem is I am wearing out my new phone..... and soon may suffer from Text Claw

ITS REAL, read this

YIKES, I gat a laugh from Text Claw, and was going to ask you if it is true. And it IS! Your collages are really good. Are you sure the raccoons are not chewing on the fence?

wow, so much damage just from climbing over your fence... the racoons need a diet LOL

I’m grateful we don’t have a raccoon problem! My hand gets numb when I use my phone sometimes which limits me somewhat. I’m grateful for my laptop where I can still type normally. Whatever it takes - I hope you continue to find ways to continue to communicate! We love you and need you!

Well I never. Who'da thunk there is a text claw lurking in our lives. First Covid19, now this to worry about! I will lose sleep over it catastrophizing.

I had no idea there was such a thing. If you are talking to your phone instead of typing, you should be safe from this one.

Hello,

I love all the greenery in your yard. Those critters have done some damage. Text claw does not sound good, it is a good thing I do not text much. Happy Father's Day weekend to Bob. Have a great day!

My battle with the raccoons are the bird feeders; quite destructive.
Until I saw your post I thought I was imagining it. I have noticed recently that I am unconsciously overlapping my two middle fingers on the hand I hold my phone in and wondered if it had anything to do with the phone. I do it when holding my Kindle as well but just with the one hand. Time for some behavior modification on my part.

Text claw....yikes that could almost look like the paw of a raccoon.
They have sure played havoc with your fence.

Always something to worry about! heehee! But this is interesting and gets back to the fact that we need to do everything in moderation! Enjoy your day!

I think the worn fence just adds to the beauty … reminding me of the old "Real" Florida. Hey, Gilligan's Island has nothing on the Hangey's!

'Thought you were joking about text claw. Wow. I'm going to share that with my DIL and grands. (Not that they'd pay any attention to me …..)

Yes and there's mouse paw too. If I use my wireless mouse for too long it gets cramped and I have to do some flexes to release it. My mouse is really tiny too. I just can't seem to get the hang of the pad on my laptop. I get frustrated every time I try.
I guess I'm too, too Old School... (:0)

Hey Sandra, Lily told me you had a question about freezing cooked bacon....I just decide how many pieces I would normally eat at a setting and I put that amount in a sandwich bag. Once I have all the bacon in bags I slip them into one freezer back. That way when I want some I just grab one sandwich bag from the freezer back and nuke it in the micro for a couple mins....its ready to eat.

Having good growing weather all year is something so foreign to me.

I love the photos. I love the green against that weathered fence.

I like all the green plants and the wood. It looks natural. Creatures coming into a yard can be a nuisance destroying things. I'm sure we get fixed as we get holes by the hedges as whatever it is has been tunnelling. We have the vegetables covered with netting.

I had never heard of text claw and shows you learn something new and/or unusual all the time, Sandra. Glad to see and read that you are having so much fun using PhotoScape X and thanks for letting me know as well.
