Walkabout the neighborhood, I see this front yard and house. Can you find the house?

Look at collage above, can you find the blue house?
Below I am standing look across the well kept yard next door... The tall bushes belong to the Blue house and I am thinking the well kept yard is glad they are there. Bottom right below, I am standing directly in front of the blue house.
The good news or bad news is, it stays this way year round here in Florida.

This doesn't even look like your neighborhood! Nice big Croton bush. WHERE is all this badly kept stuff? Is it bordering the blue house, and nobody's property? The city's property? There would be mice and rats in it, at least.
that is the house our daddy would love... he is not really keen with cutiing and taking care for da garden... and the mama is with him LOL
I would think the insect population would be tremendous with all the growth...but oh so beautiful. Love the patch of blue and the purple berries of the American beauty berry bush. I think they're edible??!
Amazing vegetation in both yards. Our neighbours have a 'wilderness garden' behind our house. We get the benefit of mature trees and greenery in our view at the back of our garden. I expect with your heat the vegetation left undisturbed on a plot of land hides many creatures. They must be lurking in the undergrowth. Eek! I think the garden with the blue-walled home is more my style.

That looks like a lot of stuff growing in the yard of the blue house. I was wondering if that would cause a bug problem or create a perfect environment for critters to live in

They do have a lot of plants growing in their front yard, looks like a jungle. Is there a walkway to the front door? My hubby planted pine trees all around our home, so the pine needles would kill the grass. He now has a smaller amount of grass to cut 30 years later. Take care, stay safe! There was a couple over in the next street a few blocks down who fixed their while yard as if it were the woods...there was a big stink about it but he won...
The bushes in front of the blue house are beautiful, a well kept yard compared to its neighbor. We had something like this in our neighborhood. A pretty garden next to one where the grass turned into a jungle and the dandelions reseeded several yards in the process. The HOA got involved after many complaints.
I spy with my little right eye ... yep, there it is! My first thought was, with all the overgrowth that looks like a neighborhood might in the Bahamas. I remember them being fond of painting their homes in bright colors. That croton is amazing ... the little one that lives in our sun room isn't getting any bigger, but neither have I killed it. (*grin*) I detest yard work with a purple passion, but feel really sorry for the next-door neighbor. Can you imagine if he were to try and sell his house? Ugh,

Yes I did find the house in amongst all the plants. Are those native to your area or are some overgrown weeds, The one with the berries reminded me of pokeweed which is an invasive species. I would prefer the well kept yard as neighbors.
The plants are pretty but it is a bit too wild for me.

At first I thought that house was surrounded by foliage! It was prettier once you turned the corner!
I don't mind looking at an overgrown, natural landscape...but they aren't for me. Now, if it was stone and cactus...that might be a different story
That house looks a little like my flower bed did, till I got in there and started cleaning out some plants.
To each it's own, I guess...just too much of everything for me.
Like others have said, I think the critters would be a problem.
It sure is tropical though.
Finished my 4 hour care-giving stint and it went better than last week. I do believe I have used up my allotment of words though..sigh...then to the bank and the store..I'm done for the day...thank you!!
